Listen my children and you shall hear of the midnight ride of Paul Revere....I know this one. Each student had to recite it at my school. That was in the 70s

Uh which God gives us rights and what rights?

The point being that it was a recognition by the founders that human beings have rights and that those rights are not granted by governments or Kings but exist simply because of the fact that they are human beings. Which God is beside the point.

These LEOs back there must be extremely frustrated......This is getting a little scary, given the fact that if 10 teams of shooters cut loose, it could wreck havoc in this country.....

Ok, you win. Now, you and your 'rights come from the constitution' can move on to be doltish with someone else.

Will you retain any personal identity when we have totally lost our constitution? Inquiring minds I'm not.

Maybe a life you should get?

Arm Everyone!!!!

I'll go one further. Tax paid training programs in every city in the nation. (Legit national defense expenditure.)

Time to get our people up to the skill level of the average Israeli.
Perhaps even weapons tax credits for purchase.

P.S.

... and they'll arrest all the witnesses; charging them with being in-credible.

Please show me where your RIGHTS come from the Constitution. Last time I looked, the Constitution limited goverment, it did not grant any rights. It preserved preexisting rights.

Hel-lo....That's the point. The constitution preserves unalianable rights.

The ACLU is firing up their word processors as we speak.

Kill them all too. I believe Shakespeare said it first.

Although I couldn't find anything you wrote down, Shakespeare did write these: "Think, and die; Rogue, thou has liv'd too long; I will kill thee a hundred and fifty ways. Therefore tremble and depart; Stain to thy countrymen, thou hear'st thy doom; I'll pray a thousand prayers for thy death; No word to save thee; He shall die a flea's death."

Any ones of which would be a fitting wish for the sniper.

Have seen people playing "duck and cover" while gassing up their cars or using an ATM? The stores are empty. Most outdoor events canceled. This is liberty? This is freedom?

Apparently, only governments are capable of infringing on freedoms. If a population is frozen into inactivity and virtual imprisonment by terrorists it's . . . it's . . . well, it's not good but it's apparently a whole lot better than being subjected the slightest risk of inconvenience by government in pursuit of terrorists.
