Agreed. If this is a precursor of things to come in this country, our lives will be changed forever. Please at least let the politicians realize the need to preserve our borders to keep some of the bad guys out.

Air Force 14, Irish 14............Opps, that's in the future, sorry. Currently Irish 14, Air Force 7.

Try to be real, okay? We're all living in the REAL WORLD here.....not words on a piece of paper.
Your rights are NOT more important than my LIFE.

"there has been no "signature" on the effort"
I think that there is a "signature"--it has been the consistency in the bullet used. They will likely break that pattern but so far it has held.

Thanks for that very informative post! (#1294)

I've been wondering that also. I'm surprised noone asked before now.

To all who believe this is a 'police state action', I humble ask: WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
And I'm not talking about bigger issues such as immigration. I want to know *specifically* what you would do to catch THIS sniper. I am extremely curious.
To: First_Salute
I don't think they are traveling... I think they stick around the area to watch all the action and to learn from it. I think these roadblocks are a BIG waste of time.

If indeed this is ME related terror, they might be insane and sick, but they DEFINITELY are not stupid...at this rate, THEY WIN!!

From the caption on the pic:
An unidentified man lies handcuffed on the ground next to his white van at a gas station in Stafford, Virginia, October 19, 2002. Law enforcement are stopping and handcuffing all drivers in white vans that fit a description in the current Washington area sniper attacks.
Of course, we can't beleive everything we read. I'll hold my opinion until we hear more.

I could not believe when they came out with this info about Al Queda terror snipers planning on hits on senators - meanwhile they downplay the possibility of this current sniper business being terror-related! Pardonez-moi?
To: Senator Pardek
Ha! Levin is a moron. And the Tigers, well, I haven't cheered for them since Kirk Gibson left.
To: Doohickey; Darnright
I have the utmost confidence in the Virginia law enforcement community.
To: Howlin
They are referring to the secret advice given to senators to avoid golf courses due to Al Quaida snipers.
While the public was (helpfully) advised only to "zig-zag" when walking in parking lots.

To whomever asked, so long ago, I can't remember right now, about movies in the area, specifically about Red Dragon, playing, I can't see that Ashland has any movie theaters, at all. My search for that has been fruitless. So, this either destroys that theory, or it's a copy cat (and I don't know where the closes Michael's is to the Ponderosa yet, either, although someone said it's 6 miles away).
To: ApesForEvolution
We could have snipers popping up randomly for a decade - or a century for that matter.Nope, the muslims will all be gone before then. Trust me.
