Thanks for posting this!
And thanks to Evans for pulling out to support Thune. What an honorable person to realize what is best for the State of SD is to support Thune!

Headline: Libertarian candidate does what is best for his country.

Good for him. Running on the Libertarian line seems to bring out the worst in a lot of people. But this is a critical race, and this will certainly help make up for all those dead Indian votes.

Barring a New Jersey repeat, his name will remain on the ballot. Surely there are Libertarians who will refuse to follow Evans' lead and will either stay home or yet cast a vote for him.

This guy rates high in my book. A whole lot higher, than Buchanan and Browne, who could have done the same thing, for the same reason, but didn't.

Good news for South Dakota! Evans seems to be a man of character.
To: DadOfFour
Way to go, Evans! What a patriot!! I will not forget this.
Last poll I saw was Zogby done 10/9-11 with 4.5% MOE:
Thune 45% Johnson 43% Evans (L) 1%
That 1% can make all the difference, like the Greens in Florida essentially voting to elect Bush.
Anybody got a later poll?

Hey, a Libertarian with some common sense! Ok, sorry; I lean Libertarian in many ways - it's just that they rarely have a chance to win and often end up helping the Dems; which hurts both Republicans and Libertarians. Not to mention the damage they (Dems) do to the fabric of the nation, the Constitution, family values and business!
