President Bush headed on the campaign trail once again today as he took a day trip to Georgia and Florida. While in Georgia, Bush stumped for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Sonny Perdue and senatorial candidate Saxby Chambless at a Republican fund-raiser in Atlanta. The President then headed to Florida, and was greeted by his brother, Jeb. President Bush promoted reading at Read-Patillo Elementary School in New Smyrna Beach and later spoke via satellite to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

You didn't raise a family YOU RAISED A DYNASTYGirl, are you ever SO RIGHT! The media licks the Kennedys' boots and proclaims them America's Royal Family. Yeah, right! The K's can't hold a candle to the Bush's when it comes to integrity in public office!!

That's a great article. Here's my favorite line:
I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Or maybe Texas.

rintense (or anyone), we see the love and affection these two brothers have for each other, but seldom see anything about the other brothers and the sister. Are they as close? Does anyone know?

I agree with you wholeheardedly. Although, Jackie Kennedy was quite beautiful...but she wasn't genetically a Kennedy, either :-)

I think that they are all very close. We just happen to see Dub and Jeb a lot more because they're constantly in the spotlight...

we need guidance to make the right decisions and peace of mind...also protection for my F-I-L who has already fallen and hurt himself in this hospitalPrayers are on the way for your hubby's family. It is never easy to make the decision to put a parent in a nursing home or other institutional setting. We made that decision with my Mama a couple of weeks ago. Her Alzheimer's had progressed to the point where she didn't even know that home was home, so it is not so bad now.
Parkinson's is such a sad disease; even worse than Alzheimer's I think because the of the physical problems as well as the mental.

"I think that they are all very close."
That alone would be enough to make their parents happy and proud.

You know what you are right
Unlike Bush family who probably whore around Gloria Swanson Norma Jean Baker and others
Bush family men have no skeleton in their past well exception of Jenna Barbara Jr and Noelle who like party wayyyyyy too much
My prayers goes out to Jeb Daughter Noelle GIRL Has monkey on her back NO QUESTION

Thank you for the prayers...it has been a bad couple of days but I know the Lord has us in His hands...even when things seem bleak
It is "funny" how political and "worldly" things take a backseat when you're having family troubles...I don't think I've watched even 10 minutes of the news the past few days....
