Prayers are on the way for your hubby's family. It is never easy to make the decision to put a parent in a nursing home or other institutional setting. We made that decision with my Mama a couple of weeks ago. Her Alzheimer's had progressed to the point where she didn't even know that home was home, so it is not so bad now.
Parkinson's is such a sad disease; even worse than Alzheimer's I think because the of the physical problems as well as the mental.
It is "funny" how political and "worldly" things take a backseat when you're having family troubles...I don't think I've watched even 10 minutes of the news the past few days....
