Yes, let's play condoms and cucumbers, but
don't be a
tattletale.
I believe this story was on FR in April when the attack occurred, this is just a follow-up.

the allegations are shocking, but shouldn't detract from the area's revitalization."Anything can happen in a big-league city," he said.
Yeah, this puts you in the big leagues, all right.

Pomerantz said a case worker from Children and Family Services substantiated the boy's allegations. An agency spokesman, however, said there was no record of the case being investigated or reported. Let's see, an individual worker tells the lawyer that it did happen.... but the agency says they know nothing?

When he tried to tell a teacher about the attacks, she rebuffed him: "No tattle-tales," she said, according to the police report. Give 'er a break.
She was only trying to promote tolerance and diversity.

A 10 and 11 year old would only know about this type of horrible act if they themselves were exposed to it in some way.

"No tattle-tales," she said, according to the police report. Words fail me.
I got mugged in the boys bathroom in 7th grade (in jr. high grades 7-9) by two ninth graders. I didn't want to narc, but a few days later I broke down and told my dad. He called the school the following day and at homeroom I was called in to speak to the vice principal. He talked to me for thirty minutes explaining in far too many words the following ideas:
We don't care who did it (he never asked for a description of the kids).
We can't patrol the bathrooms.
There's nothing we can do about it.
Teachers are busy.
He's busy.
If you have to go to the bathroom you can use the nurse's bathroom.
These cowards are pond scum.

One day my three year old came to me and asked who was going to suck his _____ when he went to school.. My heart started to pound and my mouth went dry. I asked him to repeat what he said. It was exactly what I heard him say. He was talking to the little boy next door who had just started first grade and the little friend told him some boys had done that to him and that's what you do when you go to school.. I went to the the parents of the little boy and we went to the school and they checked it out and sure enough some of the older boys.. 4th and 5th graders were getting the little boys in the bathroom and telling them this is what you do when you go to school. Evidently it was a tradition that was being passed from generation to generation, they had been told the same thing by older kids when they started school. I can't imagine no one had ever said anything before. This wasn't recently.. It was 40 years ago.

Seems to me that the teacher should have been fired and her teaching certificate permanently canceled and sent to jail for contributing to the abuse by failing to listen and act on what the child was telling her.

The two vermin children and their vermin parents should be taken out of the gene pool quickly, and unmercifully.

It's unconscionable that this happened to him, but it's equally unconscionable that a school would allow it to happen. Allow it? They WANT it.

City Councilman Zachary Reed, who represents the Mount Pleasant neighborhood around the school, said the allegations are shocking, but shouldn't detract from the area's revitalization. God. Animals! I can't stand it. Poor baby. Crazy City Councilman!

Our culture has a very strong and widely accepted notion that it is actually bad and wrong to "snitch" or "tattle". Not only isn't it wrong, it's morally obligatory. Covering for wrongdoers by keeping their secrets for them is anti-social behavior, and results in the continuation of the bad behavior, to the detriment of others.
Teach your children to tattle, and to steadfastly ignore anyone who tells them it's bad. Tell them the truth -- that the only people who say it's bad to tattle, are ones who are doing wrong and have a selfish interest in protecting themselves from punishment. Where the heck did we ever get this idea that snitching/tattling is bad?

Sounds like the boy was raped 11 times, 10x by the boys and 1 by the teacher.
To: fone
I think that you got it right. There is no other explanation for how children even know about sodomy. This is not something that should be inside a child's circle of knowledge, let alone experience.

The boy later told police that the two older boys raped him about 10 times. When he tried to tell a teacher about the attacks, she rebuffed him: "No tattle-tales," she said, according to the police report. On the other hand, if the little boy had said that mom and dad smoked funny stuff, the cops would be at the door with ninja suits and MP-5s within 24 hours. Not just that, but if a child said ANYTHING that could be construed as "abuse" in the eyes of the "school official", such as a spanking, Social Services would be all over the parents like flies on s**t.

Incredible how that works. One of my daughter's friends was in 3rd grade and a boy classmate started scaring her. He said he was a vampire, wanted to suck her blood and kept trying to bite her neck. When she told the teacher, she got in trouble for tattling and nothing was said to the boy. Her mother went to the public school, let 'em have it, and then put her daughter in private Christian school. I guess anything goes, rape, bites, etc. except guns that might shoot the teachers.

Gee, but the "gay activists" can't be held responsible for this. They aren't the ones telling 5th graders (and the rest of the world) about what they like to do with each other (and small boys)!
