No, because that guy never claimed to see the shooting. The gun info was direct official stuff from the investigation...as was the cream colored van and the tailight.

Media, in my opinion, are thinking they can crack this case and win a Pulitzer. Since they are not looking at the entire case nor are they really unbiased, they are causing trouble.

We need to be as careful about their crime reporting as we are about their political reporting.

There's also the severe problem of witness contamination. If a witness who hasn't been interviewed yet sees a press report there's a strong desire to conform with what is already out there. Witnesses need to be isolated.

I've been wondering if the ballistics point to simply one caliber(.223) or to one specific gun. This morning on Fox and Friends I distinctively heard Judge Andrew Naploitano (sp) say the ballistics pointed to one gun. (FWIW)
