Box truck and white van composites are accurate. Information from one witness at one location (Home Depot, I presume) is not.

Seems like they are not giving out any info anymore. Could be they have this guy under survailence now and are just waiting for the lagal moment to arrest him. Thier comments since Monday seem to be of a confident arrest manner.

Im hoping that's the case, since we all know the shooter's watching....keep him in the dark(just like us).

It is as I said yesterday. They had a bad witness who apparently also spoke to the press, and therefore there was disinformation broadcast. WHY the witness was bad is a good question...and also how they discovered the information was bad.

Perhaps they offered polygraph tests after all.

Well, they do put out information and then the next day waffle and try to take it back. "I never said that..." Capt. Demme (sp?) should be giving the conference- she handles the press so well. Moose is so awkward trying to sound police-y and official. It's flustrating.

something else is lacking as well. several posters have asked you, repeatedly, based on your past postings, whether you do or do not believe that AQ/MEs were behind 9-11

I have no idea whether AQ/MEs are behind it. I'm doubtful enough that I'd put the chance of that below 50%. It's certainly possible. The idea that it's CLEARLY AQ/ME is patently ridiculous; even if it does turn out to be AQ/ME.

I believe in 3 of the shootings they could not get enough bullet fragments to get ballistic evidence.

The ONLY one I know of who spoke to the press was the "I got a good look, two middle eastern guys in a van" guy who instantly became FR's favorite human being in the whole wide world.
