I've heard that they think the shooter is using something to hide the flash?

Meant to ask this before. A couple of times Katherine Herrige has said that Monday night's shooting was the first in which the victim was with someone. (her husband)

I thought the previous victim (Mr. Bridges) was with his wife that she was in the car and called 911.

Anyone know? Not that it really matters, but they keep saying that is a departure from previous shootings. I'm just not convinced that its a departure nor that it matters.

A victim is a victim is a victim. Ya know?

Are they supposed to have a press conference today?

The sad part of the one that just happened is that the husband threw himself on his wife's body to protect her from any more hits. I can see the tears in his eyes.

It's one thing to visit strip clubs when your religion forbids it; it's another thing to claim that you are the one who is in fact god and not Allah.

I said "if" the Tarot card was left by the sniper. I don't know and I'm sure you don't either. It's possible that the killer(s) are muslim terrorists, but I personally think it's unlikely.

Well, if you think about it(the deposit thing WAS stupid but anyway) it makes perfect sense to be cheap. While they may have a large inflow of cash, I bet a large amount of this goes to satellite phones, logistics, and properly placing someone in an area with the correct papers/ID. Then you have training, food for how many thousands?! That's IF these guys have a job. I bet in some cases the terrorists don't have a job when they get close to executing their plan. Add it all up, and that's a big burden for a shadow organization, even if they do get millions.

After all, AKs, explosives, strip club visits and such cost dough!

World Net Daily was way ahead of the pack on this one when they broke their story over a week ago on the BOLO for two hispanic men in a white truck.

Will there be a shooting today? Did Monday's shooting disrupt the pattern folks think they were following?

Will the drone deployment send these guys underground?

Are the freeway shootings in Long Island and in Columbus truly "copy-cat" shootings, or just less skillful ME terror cells? Some of them are less "talented" than others, perhaps?

What will happen if these shootings stop suddenly? What will be said by the Moose Chief?

And, if by some chance this is really the work of lone "nuts", what will their reaction be to having their handiwork attributed to Al-Q terrorists? Will they be angered or flattered?

Muslim terrorists don't leave Tarot cards claiming they themselves are god. Their god is Allah and Allah is the one they kill for. If this Tarot card was left by the sniper, then it's much more likely, to me anyway, that he's just a dellusional punk like the Columbine murderers, except that he's possibly had some sniper training and he doesn't want to die.

Come on, 2 weeks to release a composite of a white van. Heck, any junior high kid who knows computer graphics could have generated a rendition in an hour. And "yeh, we know the partial license plate number, but we don't want to release it"---huh???? Why not? Because some smuck citizen may spot it and report its location?

Yep, this is nonsense. When a child is kidnapped the composite is ready within hours - it's been 36 hours now and still no composite from these witnesses. And no partial plate number. What's taking so long?

These seem to be the same MO, though Long Island happened Sunday night and the Ohio gunfire was Tuesday night. I suppose the Columbus shooter could have read/heard about the Long Island shooter and decided to join in the fun. *sigh*

Or both. Which reminds me. There was a sniper shooting at cars in Idaho, in September. Far as I know, never caught.

With that one being in mid September, was that a prelude of things to come? If so, that might imply that these others may not be copy cats at all.

That they will keep investigating. That would be a bad thing. Because they could pop up again anywhere at any time.

Guess it depends on how much they want their motive known. Don't the lone nutcases usually want their motive known at some point?

Peach, I'm assuming you live in the metro area. I'm glad for the rain today -- we need it. Someone may know this, but I think all of the shootings have been in dry weather; although I think I heard someone say the rain could be an advantage to the terrorists bent on disrupting our lives.
