Five Sniper Case Witnesses Finger Dark-Skinned 'Mid-Eastern Type'

More evidence of a possible Mid-East connection to the Beltway sniper case emerged Tuesday as police began releasing descriptions of the alleged shooter given by eyewitnesses.

According to Fox News, a top U.S. law enforcement official has revealed that three eyewitnesses to Friday's shooting in Fredricksberg, Va. described the perpetrator as a dark skinned male who looked like an "Hispanic or Mid-Eastern type." One witness to Friday's attack described the shooter as a white male.

But two eyewitnesses to Monday night's shooting in Falls Church, Va. also described the shooter as a dark-skinned male, reports Fox.

One eyewitness to Monday night's attack, Washington-area construction worker Robert Young, said he had heard a muffled gunshot and saw a white van making a getaway from the Virginia shopping center where ex-FBI agent Linda Franklin was shot dead.

Young told Fox that he was backing his truck out of his parking spot when a white Chevy Astro van with two men inside tried to turn into his lane. He said the driver appeared angry that his way was blocked and instead headed off in another direction.

"I got a good look at the guy," Young insisted, describing the driver as slightly built, short and apparently of Mid-Eastern descent.

And a government anxious to divert attention from a terrorist angle might even manufacture a tarot card. What better way to get the press to concentrate on a story than to pretend you are outraged by their reporting it?

The media was choking on those words yesterday "Mid-Eastern descent" so would start with Hispanic. With the number of eye witnesses they couldn't hold back.

well the way i look at this is that im just gonna sit here and find out without making any assumtions

if the guys an arab then dont expect the charges to stick..the ACLU or someone else is gonna blame the goverment for racial profiling

I accept the eyewitness accounts and no one loves bashing the PC Whitey Did It Press more than me. Again, the Tarot card makes me think psycho, also the the last shot being fairly close to the victim and the one before that being in close proximity to a State Trooper makes me think the same. I think al Queda would have kept the original long distance M.O..
It could be a psycho middle easterner who wants to go postal and get 72 virgins in the process, though. Usually the go postal type psychos are homegrown.

You are the one jumping to conclusions. I did not in the least discredit what the witnesses saw what I did say is that the sniper could be wearing a disguise which the witnesses reported. Would you discredit the witnesses if they reported the sniper was wearing a mask?

I'm still wondering if the shooting of the child was either a copycat, or one of the shooters gone maverick. Yes, the bullets were the same, but the same gun? The media and others blabbed to the world what type of gun(s) were being used so finding/using the same would not be difficult.

The occult is very well known and used in the middle east. I can't see why people don't think the Tarot card would be used by Muslims. It is used by religions everywhere. My BIL is married to a middle easterner, and trust me, she knows the occult very well!

When I was in Blame Al-Queda Mode earlier in the week, I posted on another thread that an Al-Queda cell could be using the same gun passed around to different shooters, possibly ones who didn't know the identity of the others. That way, if one were caught, he would get the blame for all, and the others would be free to move on to another town or something and continue.

This PC reporting is getting more people killed. Although until yesterday there have been little to go on as far as witnesses, the liberal media has all but assumed this guy is a white male nut case. While this actually fits the profile of the majority of serial killers, you can't rule out other suspects, such as islamofascist middle eastern terrorism. However, that is exactly what the PC liberal media has done, despite the fact that this is obvious to the man on the street who openly discuss the latter possibility.

I don't doubt that. I just don't see where the card would be of any benefit to Al Queda. I think if it turns out that the perp is a middle easterner with an Islamist motive, then he is working solo or maybe a small unaffiliated group that organized on it's own here in the US and made it's own rules, not a trained in Afghanistan crew.
