This ban also includes bow/arrow and muzzloading hunting that are about to come into season, and all practice and recreational shooting.

LOL! The Guv must have thought Commisioner Moose was getting too much attention, so he decided to try looking even more foolish!

...This ban also includes bow/arrow... Ok. You had a good explanation for a gun shooting ban, since its a possible war zone. What about bows and arrows? Why did the governor ban them?
To: DCBryan1
I don't think that this has any legal force, and I don't see how it could have any practical effect.
To: DCBryan1
I'm sorry but this Gov is a complete @$$ for doing this stunt

"I just hope we nab the sniper in VA. Fairyland doesn't have the stomach to do to him what we would do."I'd laugh if it weren't for the fact that I'm dead serious...whilst out today, I fell into a conversation about the sniper with a total stranger...he mentioned an option (which I share) that I'm afraid to mention online...then I said a little later that the sniper stands a better chance of being caught in Virginia, where the locals (in general) haven't been infected with the PC Anal Retentative to the Point That it Drops Your IQ into the Negative Numbers bug yet...(paraphrasing, of course)...I'm from PA and he was from NY State. He agreed with us...in fact, he finished then expounded upon the thought for me.

What about banning bows and arrows? Is the governor feeling ok? He might need some quiet time.

I would disagree with banning bow hunting.

The Democrats, and Liberals in general, have a penchant for including innocent citizens in the crimes of lunatics.
With ridiculous actions like these, the political elite illustrate their contempt for law abiding citizens.
Now the Gov can say he had a hand in the solution as he spends tax dollars to take sacraficial lambs from the population and slaughter them on TV in the name of doing somthing.

He probably banned bows and arrows in order to discourage the native Americans from making a takeover attempt. (Liberal idots know no bounds)

"Do you not understand the reason for it? How many guns are fired during hunting season? Do the cops need to be chasing down hundreds of reports of shots fired at this point in time? Hunters can go elsewhere if they just HAVE to hunt."WHAT?? The sniper attacks are taking place in URBAN AREAS where HUNTERS DO NOT HUNT
What part of the galaxy are you from?

On the popular children's television show, Dora the Explorer, children are able to prevent a character named "Swiper" from taking things by yelling 'Swiper, no swiping" three times. Apparently, the writer of this law believes in magic and that by saying "Sniper, no sniping" he can prevent a lawless person from committing a crime. On the flip-side, he may have enacted the temporary ban to cut down on the false alarms among a hysterical public. But bows and arrows? Makes no sense.

thats all fine and good, but all it takes is a silencer, and then blam, you dont have a clue anyway... not many of these killings happen out in the woods ya know... its just a gungrabber nutcase wanting to use it as a reason to violate our rights. only a killer has a reason to shoot on the streets, which is where its happening, not in the woods.

Well, I live in an urban area and there is hunting in every county in the state, both urban and rural.
To: Trust but Verify
Real hunters dont hunt in malls, gas stations, etc. He and you are both wrong!
