Another 2 murders and the Sniper will be at par with the average number of homicides in NYC over a weekend.

If you are in a roadblock, turn on your interior light so police can see you. If you see anyone trying to evade a chokepoint, call 911. Bump.

No Amber Alert per se but the interstate highways do have electronic signs on them, which could do the alert thing if someone was, well, alert . . . .

Based on? You have not read what I posted over the last several days. I think I have a very strong story that should at least be looked in to.

These attacks have Jihadists written all over them. Probably a Brit or French (to blend in) convert to the death cult of Islam, trained in Bin Laden's camps.

And I forgot to say that two doors down form the Circuit City in Congressional Plaza where sis did her jog has a Micheal's two doors down. I told her not to go out if she doesn't have to. I'd pay the darn bill late!

I have heard the Columbine type kids theories....the only thing is if high-school kids, it would be hard IMHO to be out from school for so long, and be able to rent a van, etc., and not be noticed by parents, classmates, teachers, etc. BTW, you can't rent a car or van if under age 25 in most jurisdictions. I think you need a truck to shoot from in these deals...I find it hard to believe that someone can exit a vehicle with a rifle, set up, and then get back in a vehicle without anyone noticing. I think the guy is shooting from inside a truck, with a back opening. There were only a few of the shootings that occurred during "school hours". Most happened on one day - Oct. 3.
Rent a van? There is no clear evidence that it is a van. Kids have cars - and probably some have vans. And pick-up trucks. Remember, Montgomery County is one of the most affluent counties in the country.
If we have two of these freaks, one drives, sets up, the shooter is in the passenger seat, shooting across the driver - who may even provide some "rifle support".
As for getting out, shooting and then getting back into the car, the presence of a shell casing at the middle school shooting, if it came from the shooting, indicates that that is exactly what happened.

Excust me, but this is a SNIPER THREAD. If it were a homemaker thread, cookies and sewing would be just as appropriate to that as are ballistics and ammo to this.

Yes, if they are as good as sniper guy.....

Think the perp might have a wireless internet connection and be logged onto FR? Or he has accomplices watching the news and feeding the info to him via cellphone.
I come here to read about breaking news because I know it's a good place to get summaries from all the different sources. I doubt I'm the only one that has figured that out.

Michael is the angel that traditionally protects Israel. He is also considered the "most powerful". The patron saint for Law Enforcement Officers is St. Jude.

Michael's might be an anchor:
You may be right...Just using a phone book listing...it get's him to the right area every time. He just marks them 1,2,3,4,5, etc.. Wonder what the order is in the phone book?? and if there is any correlation??
