a woman called police tonight after seeing an armed gunman 'in the woods' I'm afraid there's going to be a lot of that going on. Who knows, we could get lucky and this could be the guy(s).

Isn't the mall closed by now?

It's interesting that CNN was up at that particular mall a day or two ago interviewing mothers and kids talking about how much safer they feel in the mall.

Probably a teenager or young adult with a pool cue.

THere are no woods adjacent to the mall. May be near the library.

Are there any hunting areas in the DC area? Am I hopelessly naive about the area? ;)

Anybody know what's on the other side of the woods?

Armed Gunman, the redundancy of that phrase is precious.

Armed Gunman Seen in Woods Near MallMore newsworthy would be to see a gunman who was not armed.

I just saw a fat drunk driving an Oldsmobile of a bridge in Martha's Vineyard, and, wait a minute... what year is this?
Oh, never mind.

When does hunting season open? Do they have one in Virginia or Mryland?

Massive manpower and attention focused on the DC Beltway area - I wonder where the real hit is going to be ......

armed gunman? does this mean he had a spear or a shillelagh along with his gun? or just a stupid reporter?

My gut feeling is there are more than one.

Quick! Somebody call Art Bell!

A minor perspective. While one screwball sniper holds 4 million Washingtonians in "terror", imagine one hundred Al Quadia snipers roaming throughout the Country! Always thought we were the "Home of the Brave". Hope they'll not notice...Oh, Lance Corporal Tony Sledd will be buried next week in Tampa, appriciate all those able to attend.. Sorry if I'am "oversharing"....
