WJLA TV in Washington DC just reported a woman called police tonight after seeing an armed gunman 'in the woods' near Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg, MD.

This woman was probably so scared and excited that she probably didn't mean to say "woods" but grassy knoll with trees or whatever there is, in this area.

There are no nightclubs in Lakeforest Mall but Ruby Tuesdays and The other restuarants stay open till midnight on Fri.

Maybe someone will wise up and start blabbing on the news about how safe it is for people to travel around gun clubs, firing ranges, Mafia hang-outs, etc.

In the bottom photo (i figured the layout out) there are clumps of white pines at the far end of the parking lot. Nobody parks down there, I don't think the parking lights extend that far. That would be the perfect place to hide ...

a retirement/senior citizens community. Oh. That's one the sniper hasn't got. He got young, and middle age. An elderly person would cause the outrage he/she/they/its seek. I'd watch that place if I were the police. The elderly would be really vaunerable, and not fast on their feet.
The sniper isn't that good. He/she/they/its have been shooting still targets.
