I just saw a fat drunk driving an Oldsmobile of a bridge in Martha's Vineyard, and, wait a minute... what year is this?
Oh, never mind.

When Teddy performed a pre-emptive strike on that river, it was like Pearl Harbor all over again. I bet his liver looks like a pumice rock. He's got so few brain cells left, that his cerebral and autonomic functions have to time share. When he tries to do math, he probably craps himself.

I have a few family members who have lived in Edgartown since the very early 70's. They have spoken to the REAL witnesses to the Kopechne "event". (cab drivers, The Shiretown employees, etc.) Although I can't tolerate Old Teddy's politics, the insiders up on 'The Island' say that Teddy was covering for one of Bobby's sons who was trying to get "lucky" that night with an older girl. So, it could have been an act of valor, not what most people think. Just a thought!
