Leopold and Loeb were not serial killers. They kidnapped and tortured a young boy they knew. The killers engaged in homosexual behaviour, were caught, sent to prison where Leopold died. Loeb was released from prison about 5-10 years ago.

I can attest to that! I was at an intersection once and hesitated for about 20 seconds, wondering which way I was going to have to turn, left or right, (waiting for radio directions). Just as I decided to turn left , a motorcycle cop pulled around on the driver's side and I durn near sent him sprawling. I ain't never heared such language. I turned left, but he turned lefter. :-) No ticket.

Do you suppose this could be some college kid and a buddy from the leftist dark underbelly of acadamia? He may have made the false report of gun shot today to see if he could draw cops to where ever he wants them to be. He has to be having a power high and is enjoying the mind games with the cops. He obvioulsy thinks he is cleverer than the authorities and seems to have problems with authority figures. Would a grown man address a note on a tarrot card Dear Policemen, or would be just say I am God. This jerk is taunting the cops.

My other theory (don tinfoil) is that this guy is a laborer who is a fix it man, roofer or carpenter type. His van was said to have ladder racks on it. Could he be a member of the Travelers, or some such, and retaliating for what was done to Mom who beat kid in parking lot and the verbal beating that group took in the media? Not very likely and very unpc, profiling and all like this.

Probably just some straight out uncomplicated crazed killer on the loose. A nice several million dollar reward might get a friend talking about what they know. I hope this guy gets overconfident and blows it quickly. I really empathize with those of you living in that area. It is a nightmare of gigantic proportions.
