What a buffoon! Would that such an embarassment to this nation would have stayed on his peanut farm.

Not to mention ugly.

Carter was, is and always will be a dangerous simpleton that until the day he passes on, will be capable of doing great damage to this nation's interests, and the interests of a stable peaceful world.
History shows us that there is no such thing as a "stable, peaceful world," what we call peace is like that point in a pot of water just at high-simmer before it suddenly erupts into a roiling boil.
What counts is whose hand is on the burner control.

It's a keeper, ain't it? Oh yeah, I'm keeping it!
First thing that's put a smile on my face this entire freaking week...

My favorite story about "Jimmuh" comes from one of the Navy aides assigned to the White House. This was told to my spouse, who knew the aide. "Jimmuh" liked to be photographed going to Marine 1, carrying a garmet bag slung over his shoulder to show that he wasn't "above" carrying his own luggage. EXCEPT, all the aides were instructed to be ABSOLUTELY sure there was nothing in the bag! What a crock of unpurified sh*t!!!

ROFL! Okay, that's the first thing that caused me to laugh this whole freaking week.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Nobel has basicly become a award of shame. If Arafat and Carter have been given it, I'm happy that Reagan never got it for his efforts at ending the cold war, the evil empire.

During the Carter years my ex wife had me buy a Renault Le Car (one of the 10 worst cars in existance) and for that priveledge I got to pay 21% interest or some such ridiculous amount....Carter is History's Le Car

No, he's a Nobel Peace Laureate, for crying out loud! The Nobel Committee handed him $1 million for doing absolutely nothing for world peace. In fact, he is largely to blame for getting the Iranians fired up enough to oust the Shah and put Kohmeini in power. Things have gone down hill to hell and war ever since. Carter's first statement after hearing the news was to bash President Bush. What a RAT idiot is the peanut headed Georgian Gerk! The Nobel prize committe members are all clueless, far left socialists and should be replaced.
To: DoughtyOne
Why anyone would push socialism at this point in history, is beyond my comprehension.
To do otherwise would be to admit that war-mongering buffoons, like Reagan, were right all along.
Best just to ignore the elephant in the room.

Don't forget (in no particular order) his personal control of White House tennis court schedules, his banning of "hard" liquor at White House receptions (his brother could have told him that some alcoholics drink only beer or wine), his stated objective of completing his Presidency without a single American military fatality.

History shows us that there is no such thing as a "stable, peaceful world".To have any semblance of peace, the world must be ruled with a "rod of iron".

his stated objective of completing his Presidency without a single American military fatality How utterly French.

In honor of Mr. Carters proud achievment, I call on George W. Bush to burn a CH54 in the Iranian desert.

Carter runs a campaign against Ted (Gee, I dunno, I just want to be President) Kennedy, gets the Demo nomination and an angry-at-Gerald-Ford-for-spoiling-the-fun-cause-if-any-of us-had-done-it-we-would-still-be-locked-up public votes him into office. Congratulations. You have just identified the one great thing Carter did by becoming president. He knocked out Ted Kennedy. Can you imagine if Ted had won the Democratic nomination and then beat Ford? Carter may have been the worst President since Harding, but can you imagine...?

I once thought Jimmy was at least a nice man. After his traitorous behavior the last few months, I see he is just evil, and he would be happy to help overthrow the government of the US.
Who can ever forget him sitting by the fire in the White House with his stupid sweater on during the energy crisis? No wonder Reagan won by a landslide. Speaking of it's the economy stupid!!!!

Hey Dark, thanks for the link to "fat boy's" true profile page on your Post #35.
Bookmarked that for future ammo.

"How a great country came to be led by someone like Jimmy Carter is a historical puzzle that is likely to remain unsolved."Not exactly...................it ALMOST happened again in 2000, in FL......remember???????

I credit Jimmy Carter and his allegedly lovely wife for making me a conservative once and for all. I voted for Anderson in 1980 (forgive me) and Reagan in 1984, after seeing what he had accomplished for the country (and also being horrified by Mondale's platforms).
After Reagan won re-election in 1984, Jimmuh and Rosalyn were interviewed on "60 Minutes" by Mike (Where's My Lithiium?) Wallace. Rosalyn actually told America that "(thanks to Reagan) it's OK to be a racist now."
That did it for me. In retrospect, that interview also set the tone for how Democrats have tried to win elections since that time (name-calling and slander without substance).
