I work in a newsroom in Fredericksburg, and they heard on the police scanner that a person has been shot at a gas station at "Four Mile Fork" which is a neighborhood just south of the City of Fredericksburg.
No details yet, but I wanted to let y'all know -- and keep up the tradition of FReepers getting news first.
Pray for the victim, and pray that this is a random shooting, and that this monster's terror has not widened yet again.

Hope someone gets to expand the killers brain pan with a stop shot soon.....
I suspect we'll see someone killed by the local FLEA/LEO task force. Lots of swagger and back slappin and then we'll see a few dozen more killed by the real murderer.
IMHO if they don't have this animal by now then the killer is either a loner with no one to out em to the coppers or very smart person whom is within arms reach 23 hours and 59 minutes a day.
Stay Safe !

When you really think about it, the cops may have nothing at all, only a red herring of a white van...That's why Bo Dietl was saying he's disappointed that all vehicles are not being stopped.

On channel 5 TV - they are showing a feed from WTVR in Richmond, He is standing at this morning's shooting site and he can see I-95 and the on-ramp from there. It has very easy access to I-95.

FBI Counter Terrorism, now that's interesting.

There is a theory that the sick bastard is watching the police news conferences and that the kid shooting was in response to the police assurances that he wouldn't shoot kids.
This psycho probably wants news coverage.

Our local news last night flashed up that it was written "Dear Mister Policeman." If that is true, then I doubly do not know of anyone who would write out a very commonly used abbreviation.

I wonder if he impersonates FBI or Police? He could be mingling around the perimeter of these investigations right under their noses.

If Warner activates, maybe that well get Glenspending off his a**. Given Warner's proven inability to act in a timely manner about anything (drought, budget shortfalls, you-name-it), I would expect Warner to activate the national guard in about 6 months.

Glad to be of service to the great people of FR who have done so much to get me to the scene of the biggest stories of our time.

Thanks. I was just wondering if the shooter might be using more than one. Maybe one for longer distance over another. Guess not.
To: aristeides
Yes. Given the times, they should be involved in the investigation.

Looks like the road blocks are ending
