Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. I wanted the RNC to go to court. I wanted them to twist Racicot's arm and persuade him to run. This would be such an "in your face" to Daschle, Lautenberg, the NJ Supreme Court, and the Democratic Party. But alas, Racicot is committed to spending time with his family. And the Republicans are committed to their word as they said in NJ, that this is the wrong thing to do. I guess I need to spend a little less time getting worked up over the small things and look at the example set by my party leaders. We will still prevail!

I am beyond being stunned by any Dem campaign trick. They will do ANYTHING to win, including slander, libel and smearing an opponent's good name. I saw the commercial on Fox News earlier and the video had nothing to do with the supposed subject of the commercial. This was smear politics at its lowest.

Does anyone else think that perhaps the photographers are trying to take better pictures of the President these days? There sure have been some unusually georgeous ones lately!!!

Something else I keep thinking of over and over ......

..... for nearly two years now so many FReepers have been screaming that the President wouldn't get down in the mud with the 'rats. Some people have been so angry when he has patted 'rat politicians on the back, when he's been such a gentlemen when the left was being so despicable, when he was kind to those who despitefully used him.

But he's been doing what was right .... what the Lord commands us to do ..... and now the contrast between the President and the left has become almost comically obvious. Their thrashing and ranting now is making them look so absurd ..... so fake-y and hypocritical ..... while he maintains his same calm but resolute demeanor and is being so consistent ..... and the American public is finally seeing what we have known all along ...... :-)

Evidently the ads tried to insinuate that Taylor was gay!

Aren't the Dems the champions of gay rights and tolerance? If they truly believe Taylor is gay, you'd think they would embrace him with open arms.

However, "strategery" was such a cool word to describe the way the President hides his cards and his intelligence in order to outfox his adversaries, that we have all adopted the word to describe our savvy President's maneuverings.

I've heard he now uses the word himself in jest.

Alot of people keep saying they would like to see Condi Rice become President but I don't think we will ever see it. Condi herself has said she doesn't like politics and only her respect for George W. Bush brought her to Washington.

To me, it would be as if the dems found out about a presidential candidate's past incident with a DUI charge and waited until the week before the election to leak it out.....ummm, wait, they already did that one. It's official, they can't sink any lower.

Oh yeah, hitlery spewed her garbage. She supported the President, of course, as did all of the previously anti creeps like Dashole and Kerry. Jerks, all. It was their speeches that were so sickening-so full of garbage. Somehow supporting the President but heavily attacking him too, in the worst way. I cannot stand those terrible people. I wish all of the senators like them, dems or republicans, were thrown out on charges of no conviction, no character and no dedication to the United States of America. These people are not leaders-they are poll slaves.

I don't think he actually created the word stategery. It as in a skit in Saturday night live making fund of the fact that he occassionaly messes up words. But he did not actually make up the word.

Bet they aren't through with their dirty tricks either. Our incumbent Dem congressman is running quite a misleading ad campaign against his GOP challenger. What's sad is that many voters cast their ballot based on television ads rather than check the facts for themselves.
