I was stationed in Witchita Ks at McConnell AFB in late 70's and that place was a ticking time bomb up around the Hillside Road area.....Lots of assults, drive bys, robbery ect ect....high crime rate. One didn't loiter there with out a sidearm for long. I wonder what the address of the victims home was ? It may have been posted but I haven't seen it.

There have been several articles written about how white young men do not fight back anymore. We are raising them to be sensitive, to talk about their feelings and to not give in to anger.

And here we have nice young men and women, robbed, raped and eventually murdered by hateful thugs who look upon them as weak, typical victims. The same thing happened in CA when the 2 girls were abducted.

I heard, from a fairly credible source (detective type), that this case was NOT a racial crime, but a payback crime for something that happened in prison. Who knows, but it seems that whenever a white person does anything to a minority, it is jumped on as a hate crime.

The people of Kansas do not believe they have a right to defend themselves against anyone, thus, is why they continually refuse to have a "shall issue ccw" law. It is hard to sympathize with the people of a state that refuses to have criminals like these shot by its citizens. (by the waym the details of this crime are much more horrific than what is in this article) .

Until the people of Kansas rethink whether the citizens or the criminals deserve to be protected, they should continue to expect crimes like this.
