There is a post in Breaking News that says FR was mentioned in the most recent press conference and that someone on FR is spreading incorrect information. Anyone hear anything about FR mentioned in the press conference? I haven't heard anything like that. And even if they did, why hold FR to a higher standard than the media? LOL

What do you mean?Contract. He's not allowed to talk about this. Why, he talks about everything else. This is more important than anything else he has had on his show this week.

a delivery guy (panel truck) who has a slow day and can take time to stake out a place he's already selected That would be my guess. At one time, we heard that the vehicle had black lettering.

When I talked to the interviewer from the Tip number, I mentioned Free Republic. The guy really wasn't interested in what I had to say. They're looking for witnesses who were at the scenes.

Could snipers actually be looking to kill someone they know, and then killing others to make it appear random? Yesterday, areafiftyone mentioned a previous sniper who did just that. Here is part of the article he linked to:
"....What he said was he was doing these shootings to camouflage his ultimate target, which was another person he intended to kill So it would appear the other person was killed as part of a random shooting spree," said detective Kevin Cronin, the lead detective on the case... "

YOU CALLED THEM!!!!!!! What were you gonna tell them? LOL!!!

Well, if it's the police, they might have something or they would have discounted it by now (I think).
If it's Fox, its Newsreporting 101. Get the public's attention but make it simple, truthful and NOT provocative.

There was a dometic shooting at some hotel. It almost seems like there was something but I don't recall what ever happened with that. You might check yesterdays thread.

When I talked to the interviewer from the Tip number, I mentioned Free Republic. The guy really wasn't interested in what I had to say. They're looking for witnesses who were at the scenes. Odd. On this a.m.'s local newsradio station (WTOP), they repeated a number of times that Moose had said they weren't exactly inundated with calls, and that hunches, ideas and other "not hard evidence" from people who aren't witnesses was quite welcome.
If you have a specific thought or idea, you might want to keep trying to push it through.

I told them to look at online sniper games and see if anyone had the handle "God". They could check the IP address and see if they lived in the area.
It was worth embarrassing myself.

Sac--- I'm waiting-- What does Bill O'Rielly's contract have to do with not talking about the sniper.

It's all a mis-understanding over there on another thread.

Write him an email. He's the only one who knows.

The first: Could the sniper(s) have picked their victim and followed them until an opportunity presented itself. Man goes to gas station, starts pumping. Snipers get into position, and are ready by the time he pays for gas. Second thought: Could snipers actually be looking to kill someone they know, and then killing others to make it appear random?
Man was shot prior to pumping gas. Not that that changes much. I can't remember what town they said he was from, just that he wasn't local. But, I did wonder about them following him.
But sheesh a lot of dead bodies for that. But ya never know.

They supposedly had 6,000 callers. I waited until 1:30 AM to call so as not to cause anyone else problems getting through.
I still think this killer is a little punk[low recoiled weapon]
A possible loss of a loved one at "Gates of Heaven" Cemetary.
Work record at Michael's or Catholic.
They should check Recruiters for wannabe's.
These are all guesses and I didn't mention any of this to the Tip Panel.
To: relee
Oh ok, I understand now!

Maybe O'Reilly figures we are getting the story most all day long. If something breaks I think he breaks for them.

It's a great tip and the investigators should have had the opportunity to decide for themselves if it has merit. Instead, some phone flunky pre-determined what the investigators will see.
They say in the press conferences they want any and all tips and then dismiss good information just because it's not an eyewitness account. Well, by now, I think it would have occurred to them that are real short of credible eyewitnesses and they may need to resort to other leads.
Not just every investigator might come up with this on their own. For the vast majority of the population, online gaming is not on their radar screen.

Shep on the fox news network said they (police or fox?) have more information about the minivan/occupants but they are not going to release it. hhmmm maybe we won't have a shooting today? Let's hope!

But sheesh a lot of dead bodies for that. But ya never know.I don't buy it for this case either. But his second thought was right on target for the other sniper case.
