FOXNEWS just reported that another shooting has happened in the DC area (Prince George?). A man was shot an killed at a gas station.

I'd put a bunch of National Guard Blackhawks in the air in the area with infrared capability & a sniper on board - they might be able to get him before he gets away, but even that will even be hard.

According to the news conference, this is the 2nd shooting today. Both with a shotgun, only the first didn't hit a person, but rather shattered the windshield of a vehicle. Not linking yet, not certain if it was a shot, but the experts seem to think that it was from a shotgun.

Channel 8 mentioned that witnesses were taken away by the police for questioning and that the 2 men in the white van are white.

BTW- If they're light skinned Middle Eastern men or Hispanic- and committed a crime- they're considered white.

So, the description depends on the meaning of the word "is."

MANASSAS, Virginia (CNN) -- A person was killed Wednesday night while pumping gas at a gas station here and authorities were investigating whether the incident was connected with the string of sniper shootings that has already claimed six lives in the Washington area.

Dennis Mangan, a detective with the Prince William County Police Department, said the shooting happened at a Sunoco gas station around 8:15 p.m.

Asked whether it was linked to the sniper shootings, Mangan said, "It's too early to tell. We can't really rule it out."

Video of the scene showed an individual slumped between a gas pump and his car in a pool of blood. It was unclear whether the victim was a male or female.

Dozens of police were on the scene, and yellow crime scene tape sealed off the area.

Jeff Hintosh, a 19-year-old waiter at a nearby Shoney's, said he and his co-workers heard a single shot and did not see a fleeing vehicle or anything else.

Manassas is a suburb of about 35,000 people, southwest of the nation's capitol.

2. If his objective is terror, through one-shot kills, a shotgun fits into his plans.

Interesting. Every one of the victims was performing a routine activity. Pumping gas, mowing the lawn, etc. At first glance, this is an attempt to disrupt 'normal'. It's an attack on everyday activities.

But what kind of person would want to attack normalcy? Freepers, start profiling...
