WUSA-TV 9 News in Washington, D.C. reported in its 11 p.m. broadcast that police found a tarot card and a note to police at the scene of yesterday's sniper shooting of a 13 year old boy at Tasker Middle School in Bowie, Md.
The tarot card was the 'Death' card. The message said, 'Dear policemen, I am God."

Or, it could be clever terrorists who want to keep killing longer. A clever ruse.

not really..it just proves he's watching TV..alot of the talking heads have been saying that "he's God now" , and its up to him who lives and who dies...just like he went after a boy at school after The police on TV said schools were safe becuase of all the cops

The "Death" card is primarily realted to being reborn. The actual "card of death" is the Eight of Swords (I think.)
Of course, the sniper(s) may not know these things.

If he left a Tarot card with writing, he has made a huge, huge, titanic blunder.
The Fibbies will find out where the card was produced and where sold. They will also examine the ink and any possible prints or fragments of fabric, dust, or whatnot that is on that card.
A terrorist would not have done this.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

he killings may have happened before I was born, but I know that information is going to provoke some comparisons in California. You must have seen my post on another thread. Do a Google search for Zodiac killer.
To: OnAMission
it probably is a domestic nutcase It's possible the nutcase personally knew and wanted to kill one of the victims for some reason. The killing of the others, and the tarot card, may be camouflage.

Most of the episodes had unhappy endings, but it was very well written.

This sounds like the "Zodiac" killer and the model for the first "Dirty Harry" movie.

According to a history of Tarot cards, 'The Death Skeleton' comes to all: child, father, mother, king and priest.'Hmm, maybe therein lies a pattern of some sort. I'd be warning clergy at least.

You are right that a lot of the profilers were saying that he was playing God... He may just be playing off them like he seemed to do when he shot the boy going to school after hearing them declare the schools were safe.
This is a very odd development in a very odd case.

Everything about
"In a nearby wooded area, detectives found the spot where the sniper apparently waited in ambush. The grass was matted down, a shell casing was found and, law enforcement sources say, investigators found a message from the gunman to the Police."Says different guy(s) altogether.
Next question is would that please or pi** off the originals?

I hope that the cops know to check for sales of unsual numbers of tarot decks. My guess would be that this guy will want to leave a death card from now on. Thus each new shooting will require a new deck.

A terrorist would not have done this. There again Chris, they may have, with knowledge of the scrutiny that would be placed on the card and it's "fingerprints". It's a good rule; keep your enemies confused. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go grab some quality tin foil...I don't know which way this story is gonna go.

If he had leat an Ace of Spades, that might have indicated a GI/exGI that is/was assigned to a combat unit.
Glad that wasn't left behind.

You ain't kidding. When I was in college I knew a girl who was studying criminal justice. She got to interview David Berkowitz in prison for one of her classes in criminal psychology, and she described it as the creepiest thing she'd ever experienced.

If I were a smart Muslim terrorist I would throw down a Tarrot card to muddy up the mix. This Muslim guy has lived here for years and knows about the Tarot.
Just my speculation. 50% chance it's a homegrown nut and not a Muslim.
