. . .am getting really annoyed with the reporting so far; (Cathering Herridge/FoxNews) especially the 'profiling' info. As for the bullet, and telling us, they cannot make a link to other crimes, until forensics on the bullet can only say, if it is different; so what. . .fits into 'random' as well.

. . .and there are surely some witnesses to this tragedy this morning, that could help in some way to alert the rest of the surrounding communities. . .but no one is sharing the info. . .

Simply offering that so far, the 'random' nature of this crime, is not contrary to the current profile, despite Media speculation, but in fact, fits very well, the m.o. of the others. . .

Just finished reading Steven Emerson's excellent book American Jihad and he mentioned that incident and called it terrorism. He also had several incidents of terrorism committed in this country that were not deemed that at the time. Mostly incidents of Israeli leaders shot in NYC by Muslims. Also a schoolbus filled with Israeli children in NYC.

Muslims attacked Americans all through the Clinton reign of terror. We heard about 5 big ones because they were military, or in one case, the WTC. Clinton, of course, vowed to do something about it.

No real reason, but those guys rounded up in Oregon were into "target practice" that's how they had been training. You don't practice shooting if you're going to use a bomb or chemical weapon.

The primary similarities: morning rush hour shootings, spokesperson for LEO said they think shooting came from a distance. Whoever it is, they have carefully orchestrated the places of shooting in order to make quick getaways.

My brother works for the Director of EMS, doing all the programming for the cardiology unit. Every time somebody calls 9-11 with chest pains or a heart attack, they use my bro's program countywide.

But with everyone on pins and needles right now, and the latest from Al Qaeda (sorry, I can't believe it's from OBL himself - a little hard to talk when you're dead) pointing at new attacks within the US, almost on cue, I would say that the signals are pointing toward the off-shore type. (Mind you, I realize we've got some nutballs here, too...)

If it is Islamists, then I would assume it's easier to recruit snipers than suicide bombers, given that they don't have to offer themselves to the ultimate cause.
