No, you weren't arguing with me but someone flamed me that calling 9-11 was letting the government take care of it.
9-11 is full of medical people not part of a bureaucracy.
Can you imagine being at Walmart and getting shot there? The cops are now at the Walmart. Now there'll be a Walmart thread.

I have another theory as to this DC periphery shootings but it's nought but my own speculation.
Prince Georges and Montgomery county, as well as the Virginia shooting locale, are all AROUND DC. What gets me so hinky about these incidents is how quickly the perps get away. ANYONE can shoot someone with a gun and a good eye. It's getting away that's the trick.
These shootings have the veneer of having been planned and practiced. A kook with a gun and a mental disorder wouldn't likely sit down and ponder escape routes much less do it so effectively. Whoever is doing this is doing it very well. It has all the appearences of being planned and plotted.
My theory is that the shooters are PRACTICING. That's right. Practicing. Practicing their target practice, spreading a little terror along the way, and perfecting their getaway. I'm thinking the plan is to continue circling DC, eventually getting in closer and closer to the actual city of DC. Then, with all the practice, I think there may be a plan to plant a well-aimed bullet in some heads of the DC politicians, maybe the president.
Just the musings and speculations of a VERY concerned citizen of Merryland. I've known my whole life that if the country goes down, Merryland citizens will pay the price. These shootings appear to me to be planned, very well-planned.
And no killings on the weekend. What's that all about?
One guy was filling up a (reg. car) taxi, guy with lawnmower was working outside of a car dealership (not sure what kind of cars). But I think the fact that there were 3 SUV/minivans is just a co-incidence, here in PA (not too far away) almost every other vehicle is a SUV or van
Yes. . .and everyone should have one. . .if the victim/s cannot use theirs; then others around can. . .
That's the thing. We know copycats exist. But we also know that there are cells all over the country, too. The shooter may have more than one type of weapon. Going to be difficult to rule out a lot until there are witnesses, and desriptions.
Shots fired at a Wal Mart, same area.
If its the islamists, they could have a chain of shooters w/ each one only knowing the next one down the lines identity, and that one not knowing anymore than they need to about the one above. This would be possible w/ the huge middle eastern population in the DC perimeter. Keep passing the same gun down the line until one is caught; publics all worked about the shootings and knowing terrorists running free. Huge security problems at schools and everywhere else, major disruptions. We will be better off if this sleaze is just a white psycho like the PC crowd hopes.
There's more than 1 as I suspected. No way the sniper could've made the distance he did from the first shooting this morning to the Walmart shooting.
Either that, or the copycat's have started.
Anyone with knowledge of the two counties that can pop up a map in Mapquest and calculate time/distnace?
