Is October 7th any kind of Islamic holiday or anything? Any significance to Islam?
Yes, it is. Like the other 364 days of the year it is "Kill infidels" day...
To: All
Maybe taking two shots now to make sure it's a kill not a half A shot that did not kill the women.
Everything else remains the same....sniper, no witnesses, some woods area and major highway around.
This 13 year old may be a big kid and not little as we perceive.

I asked the question earlier, how many times was the woman that survived shot? I'm thinking along the same line as you.
To: OReilly
If there were builkdings around, the second second shot heard my be an echo of the first shot.

Like I said in my post above, I guess Florida has a great 9-11 EMS System compared to the rest of the country. When a Pinellas County resident has an emergency, the fire dept. and ambulance both arrive quickly; faster than I could drive to a hospital and while driving, mom can't do anything for the child.
These are my last comments on this subject. States not blessed like Florida to have a good EMS system, they don't know what they're missing.

I would think they would be too easy to catch if they were Muslims.?

"I feel really horrible for the mom but she should have had a cell phone and called 9-11 instead of using her car as an ambulance."
Please!
Cell phone or not - and we do not know, for a fact that she did not have one; I might have done the same thing. . .her car was there; we do not know how far she had to go. . .may have been faster than waiting for emergency vehicle. . .
. . .and no doubt, there were many others around, parents dropping their children off, teachers. . .et al, who probably not only had cell phones, but the presence of mind and time, to use it as well.

Last week the government reported that they had received info on terrorist plans to target our schools.

Copycat or the real thing? Is this just to keep us looking over our shoulders? If so, it seems to be working.
I wonder what school attendance will go to, 25% or less?

"The reporting and Chief who gives the briefings seem so incompetent. This is the same POS chief from Portland that refused to help question and or detain anyone suspected of being a terrorist. Only right he should now be the Chief in another county of "Diversity". Wonder how many Terrorists he will help this time.

I agree with you about the chief. He appears to be in way over his head on this situation. His briefings seem like non-sensical ramblings.

Do you feel a touch of what you felt on 9/11/2001? I do. I understand what you're saying but this doesn't compare to 9/11. That was simultaneous attacks in multiple cities and, very importantly, an organized plan. Even after all that, we (me, my wife, and daughter) flew a few weeks later for a trip to the inlaws.

We had a great EMS system in CT, too. You could call from your phone and they'd helicopter to where you were in your car at the time. We didn't have to wait for an ambulance but could at least get part-way to where the hospital was located. (I wasn't trying to argue with you about the fact of whether or not it was smart of the mother to take her child to the hospital rather than call an ambulance and hope you didn't perceive it that way).

It would have been better to transport him by helicopter right from the scene. Have you ever been at an accident scene, and timed how long it takes for even an ambulance to get there and then call for air evac? If there was someone to assist with stopping the bleeding, I would have driven to a nearby hospital. As you may know, DC Ambulances have known to have been lost for hours, and then realized that they didn't have a map.

"I wouldn't be surprised if this is Islamofascist terrorism."
. . .indeed, the real surprise would be that it is NOT!
That said, seems the 'news' is willing to entertain the least likely scenarios without speculating on the most likely. . .

I've read with interest about the POS from Oregon with interest and it's hard to believe a LEO wouldn't cooperative with the feds over national security issues. The guy should be fired.
