You are so right! This truly is a 'good read'. Heart lifting in its honesty and insight. Thanks for a great ping!

Let's see............intelligent, shrewd, caring, clever, spiritual, sharing his faith in Jesus, self-disciplined, passionate, lacking pomposity, personable, charming, courteous, possessing a sense of humor, having deep convictions and a sense of mission, comfortable in his own skin, hates 1960's liberalism, strong, fit and determined. That just about sums the man up, doesn't it?
God's man for this hour, for this country, for this task. Thank You, Lord, for George W. Bush!
What a terrific post! Worth repeating over and over.
You bet it sums our President up....God knew just what this nation needed, and our job is to keep this good leader uplifted with prayer. My gosh...this article was so neat, written by a foreigner, no less, who happens to know our President. I loved it.

My weekend company finally left, I made a cup of steaming hot green tea to sip, turned on my computer, opened FR, and found your pings to this WONDERFUL thread. **sigh** Thanks!
To: Pokey78
Thanks for the ping.
After the mess in the middle east is finally cleaned up, President Bush would go down in the history books as one of the greatest presidents ever.

You are right about this point:
"There are VERY FEW people willing to say, "hey, I was wrong about this man, or this woman". I think those who practice the politics of personal destruction, don't care to change their minds - or any one elses mind. It fits their agenda."
This is why you often hear that President Bush, "grew into a new President" after 9/11. One doesn't "grow" into being a good solid man, it takes years of work. They'll do anything to avoid admiting that they were wrong about the man.

SO I guess you didn't like what you read about how Algoreiloni runs his slumlord apartments?
To: stylin_geek
Loved that line as well. Great article. Bookmarked.

SO I guess you didn't like what you read about how Algoreiloni runs his slumlord apartments?I couldn't decide whether I liked that better than the way he polluted the streams in TN, or the way he collected money from Armand Hammer, or his indecision about growing tobacco. So much to choose from!

Ahhhhhhh!!! This is as refreshing as a warm summer rain. Go, George, go!

Ping for a good read...

Men that strong don't come along all that often and we've never needed them more than we do now. Can't help but think back to the country needing Lincoln, and Providence putting him where he needed to be when he was needed. So it seems to me with GW Bush at this time in history.
