Are they expecting Hurricane force winds at Mandeville?
The first thing I noticed when I got up this morning was the smell. Smells like the beach at low tide. I expect Dauphin Island is taking a beating.

LOL I wouldn't want to eat what she might fix after I've awakened her from such a pleasanr slumber!

blinks again. Two in a row.

I guess not, from the way it was worded. Earlier CNN had a reporter from the shore near Dauphin Island. Waves on the riprap, didn't look too dramatic. Reporterette was dolled up in 6-inch drama makeup, going for the Miss America look.

One if by land, two if by sea?

"By the way, blam, what's for breakfast? I'm hungry." Eggs over easy, grits, Conecuh sausage, toasted wheat bread and Knotts Berry farm strawberry preserves. Hungry yet? lol.

No walks in the parks today, I'll bet. Sounds like it is weakening though.

Saw Mike Foster being interviewed on FNC just now, came across as low-key but pretty impressive. Too bad he didn't run for the Senate seat.

He's a jerk, former democrat who changed his party affiliation just prior to his being elected, ran as a conservative and governed as a liberal. Other than that, He's a nice guy.

Tim Snodgrass wrote that it is because Bush wants to divide Israel in two by setting up the abomination of Palestine in the middle of it and because of Bush's persistance in this anti-Israel move, God will divide Amerca. Huh? Bush just signed a bill calling Jerusalem, Israel's capital.
This alone would do more to unify Israel than anything else. To have total control of Jerusalem, and it has the added benefit of making the arabs MAD!
I mean, you can't hardly have a capital that is shared with someone. The Arabs now should know that they can kiss Jerusalem goodbye.
Common sense dictates that eventually the palestinians will have to leave Israel. You just can't have two little pockets of palestinians embedded within Israel.
Hard saying just where the Palestinians will wind up, but you can bet it won't be in Israel and they won't have control over Jerusalem either.

I hear sirens.

It's really kicking outside once again. Power might be knocking out soon.
To: Uncle Sham
Where do you live?
To: Uncle Sham
Well, I guess I don't know much about him!
The Fox reporter in New Iberia is on now from in front of your Super Kmart.

If you lose power you might want to throw your breakers so your appliances don't burn out if the electric fades in and out when they try to get it back on.

Should be intense for about 20 - 30 minutes, ease up a bit then it gets real bad until the eye passes over you then you'll get hit really bad again as the southern eye wall hits.
To: Uncle Sham
I'm glad you're back. What a night you have had! And I guess it's not over yet!
