>His last words: >>"Oh sh%$^&T! Just heard a loud bang. Time to investigate the premises."
Those are usually also last words of someone in one of those cheap UFO movies right before they are abducted.

You never know exactly where a hurricane is gonna hit until it actually hits.
I have seen so many tropical storms and hurricanes pause and/or turn at the last minute before they make landfall.

I'm back. Whew! It appears that someone's trash can introduced itself to our front door. That wasn't too bad. What was bad was having to chase down one of our dogs after she got out. She ran for cover as we chased her down the street. We are all now pretty wet from the adventure but otherwise fine. Power has stayed up throughout. Thanks for the concerns. I hadn't realized my "last words" were so "movie-like". LOL :-)

I was in Panama City Beach when Erin came through. Same thing there. I was staying in one of the beach hotels (Sun Spree I believe) and witnessed Salty's (a club next door) collapse.

Good morning all. I'm back on the job, having my first cup of coffee this morning. A little breezy but dry here in Mobile.
