You are right. Unless he resigns and a replacement is added to the ballot by virtue of his 'incumbancy'.

I hope that all this publicity will cause revulsion among
the people of New Jersey, and throughout the nation.
It's apparent to even the most casual observer that the RATS are trying to steal this seat. This could back-fire
big time.

If the above is cited correctly, they are toast.

On Fox they just said there is some chance that Clinton, as in Bill, could be put in there. This would explain why Torch told us he had talked to him today. This is effing scary. Tha bastard would win if he was on the ballot.

Oh help me, two clintons in the Senate. Where is the hurl alert?

Good work. I'd prefer the "bait-and-switch" technique, though. It's very simple, and it brings to mind the word "sleaze" and CONNECTS it to the Dems.

Actually, he has until October 6th to resign;

How would the citizens of New Jersey feel about being told, "Never mind; we're not going to have an election."

McGreevy must be nuts to be there with the disgraced Torricelli.

They both are obeying orders from Clinton.

This is frightening! Why did Torch mention Clinton, and that he's the person he admires most? This is pure evil!

I know, been reading the posts on NJ law all afternoon while we waited for his pc. But of course a little thing like the LAW hasn't ever stopped them before - look how well they did with the liberal FL state supreme court. Which is why I think it will have to go to the SCOTUS.

Thanks for the link though, I hadn't read that about the only case ever allowed by NJ court was in the event of a candidate's death. Very interesting.

And, since Mr. Carnahan was already dead, he was an invalid candidate. So he couldn't WIN. But, the GOP always wants to be the nice guys. I hope Ashcroft learned his lesson.

It's way past time for the gloves to come OFF. (lets use laws to our advantage).

"Repeal the 17th amendment. Let the statehouses decide."

That would go a LONG way to restore our Republic.

I heard the Torch list all of his accomplishments.

He stood for denying unborns a chance to breathe fresh air.

He worked to deny Americans one of their constitutionally protected rights.

He admits both openly, although he spins them differently.

But he also claims to have built all these wonderful things. The fact of the matter is, Bob Torricelli never built a damned thing. The taxpayers did. The retirement homes, the parks, the hospitals- these were not his creations. The services given to seniors, these were not his gifts.

They were the result of the hard work of other people, taken under the demands of the government via taxation. New Jersey's residents, and to the degree that they received federal funding, US citizens, built those things and provided those services.

But Torch wants the credit. Like any Democrat, it is all about him.

So if the Torch's poll numbers go up, can he take it all back? LOL
