Here's a handy one:

< a href=" http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/577291/posts" target="_blank" > Tornado in Birmingham. < /a >

This will give you a hyper link that opens in a new window. Just close the brackets on the example. The end result:

Tornado in Birmingham.

This one is missing and one that comes in handy once in a while.:

<span style="background:color"> </span>
Used like a yellow marker to highlight text.

That's a problem with old threads that have old links in them. Old links don't just fade away, they die (or change URLs.)

Fantastic, thank you!

I never knew it before, and learned HTML when I began acessing

My Favorite Web Site

Hmmm...that's interesting...

I had a question, so I 'copied' the format above for creating a hyperlink from the article, but it Didn't copy correctly, and won't show up in in HTML format, only regular!

What's up with that, anyway? <-----(what's up with that??)

An example, do not click

Anyway, here's my question...Does using upper case vs. lower case letters makes a difference in how everything looks in the end?

OH--

I made green chili chicken enchaladas tonight...despite the headache from staring at this HTML......but it's such fun, isn't it??
