President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Did you get the feeling Daschle took acting lessons before today's performance? If so, he ought to fire his acting coach. I haven't seen such a hammy performance since my grade-school play.

Thanks for the dose, rintense. I have a ? for y'all. Did anyone hear that they may have found the skull of Elizabeth Smart? Jan was halfway watching tv and she thought that was what she heard.

I should have qualified it by saying "he took bad acting lessons."

rintense, thank you so much. Haven't had a lot of opportunity to spend time in the Daily Dose lately, but I do check in and enjoy the pix of our wonderful President.
Thank goodness for the Internet (especially FR), talk radio, and Fox News. Tiny Tommy Dashole made a fool of himself today, as did the sweating, seriously balding OwlGore the other day. The DEmLibs can spew their venom as much as they ever did, but the big difference is that they are FINALLY being challenged. They are still stupid enough to think that people are going to believe their lies, and they don't do their homework. Well, we've got 'em!!!
And I submit to you that Rush and our beloved Fox News guys (Brit, Sean, Tony, et al) lurk here and get a lot of their facts from us.

If anything, he give praise equally to individuals and groups- regardless of political affiliation.

I should have qualified it by saying "he took bad acting lessons." Remember the Styxx song, Mr. Roboto? Even RoboCop had more charisma than Daschle.

Bryd, the biggest porker in the Senate. The man who attempted to add millions tacked on the defense bill in order to get money for his pet projects. Fortunely the senate actually believed the President would veto the bill if they porked it.
This is also the man who was a member of the KKK. So in my book that makes him a KKK Porker.

Just listened to Art Linkletter on Hannity and whatshisname -- at age 90, Linkletter was still able to skillfully SLAM both whashisname and Daschle! I loved it!!! Bill Bennett's next -- more verbal body slams!

So in my book that makes him a KKK Porker. Ugh - the image. Like Frasier said last night, "I think I'll go poke out my mind's eye"

I heard that they thought it might be the little girl who was abducted when her parents were killed.

Remember the Styxx song, Mr. Roboto? Even RoboCop had more charisma than Daschle. Good comparison, lol. Isn't it nice to know our side is taking the moral high road? The nastier the Dems are the better they make W look. Let's all pray like heck they continue their downhill slide into November.

Thanks. Like I said she was halfway watching tv and she was not paying too much attention but she asked me if there were anything on the computer about it. She has not heard anything else and that was an hour or so ago. Laura is a lovely First Lady. What is going on with the dummycrats? It has been a long time since I have heard so much nonesense. How can anyone even think of voting for those characters? I would be ashamed to tell anyone I had voted for D. or B.

The contrast between President Bush and Daschle and Gore is so stark. Their attacks on President Bush are probably bringing in some big bucks to the Republicans. At least, I hope so.
