President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

PING!
A truly great day for Republicans and for freepers alike! Let's all remember who the REAL enemy is... Today, I think we saw the strongest argument yet of why it is so vital that we reclaim the Senate- for justice and for sanity!

Wow, an early Dose! Cool!

I am glad you put Trent Lott's quote as a feature. Lott has not always been my favorite, but he did very well today. I am proud of him!

I must say, I've never known Trent Lott to put a fine point on anything. But he certainly did with that quote.

Here's a test:
Which president in the last 30 years lied to get us into a military action? (Remember, LBJ lied to congress to expand the Vietnam conflict, but that was over 30 years ago.)
Laura!
This is from her visit to Greenville-Weston High School to promote Teach for America, a recruitment program that trains and places teachers in struggling school districts.
On to Mexico City...

This is one day in particular I am happy for the Dose. Just to compare our calm, composed, solid-as-a-rock President with that whining, small-minded (and otherwise) idiot that was ranting on the Senate floor today is a joy for me. Thank goodness an adult is in charge.
As for Daschle, it looked like he was auditioning for a soap opera. Maybe for: "General Short-pistol", "The Old and the Gutless", "As the UN Churns", ad nauseum...

Of all the speakers today, that is the one quote that stuck out.

I was so annoyed with Dippy Daschle today and yet I suspect he did himself no good with his breathy performance. I have a friend who used to date him in college and she said that he was fake back then and not a good kisser. Plus he was too short for her. She married a tough, tall, Army man. I also appreciated Lott's defense of President Bush. It was manly. Daschle was not. He is just creepy.

Oh no....I think I'm gonna hurl. It's not you, Laura...it's that picture of someone kissing Tom D. It's more than I can bear. I may have to go to bed early now....
To: anniegetyourgun; Lucyredboots
Oh, I know. We got a good laugh out of it when she told me. Of course, she is a Republican and shuddered at the thought that she used to date him.

Oh, let us repeat that testimonial!!
DASCHLE IS NOT A GOOD KISSER!!!
Hahahahahaha!!!
I want to make sure everyone reads your post!
Howlin, look at Lauratealeaf's post!! HA!
To: gramho12
Did you get the feeling Daschle took acting lessons before today's performance? The drama! The gasps! The raspy breathing! It was absolutely disgusting, as was the increasingly senile Byrd. Zell Miller's speech was wonderful, and how I wish he would pull a Jeffords.
