I am glad you put Trent Lott's quote as a feature. Lott has not always been my favorite, but he did very well today. I am proud of him!
This is one day in particular I am happy for the Dose. Just to compare our calm, composed, solid-as-a-rock President with that whining, small-minded (and otherwise) idiot that was ranting on the Senate floor today is a joy for me. Thank goodness an adult is in charge.
As for Daschle, it looked like he was auditioning for a soap opera. Maybe for: "General Short-pistol", "The Old and the Gutless", "As the UN Churns", ad nauseum...
Of all the speakers today, that is the one quote that stuck out.
