President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Another (reddish) orange tie! ;-)
Aren't Laura's eyes gorgeous?

DASCHLE IS NOT A GOOD KISSER!!!Put that way I can almost handle the imagery. He also is not a good Senator, Majority Leader, or patriot. His time would be better spent scheduling the legislation we and the President are waiting for. Isn't that what a majority leader does?

The last picture in #13...Laura looks like a movie star.

To be honest, I could not listen to the entire speech - it was just too sickenly(is this a word?) phony for me to watch. How anyone can vote for this guy is beyond me. Clinton was the first person I had visceral reactions to whenever he came on the tube, then it was Gore, and now Dachle is right up there with the other slime balls.

I also appreciated Lott's defense of President Bush. It was manly. Daschle was not. He is just creepy.I agree wholeheartedly to both of your assessments here!

As for Daschle, it looked like he was auditioning for a soap opera. Maybe for: "General Short-pistol", "The Old and the Gutless", "As the UN Churns", ad nauseum... ROTFLALAL!
Everyone is in rare form tonight!

I know what you mean, but what was wonderful about today is he lied, spun and twisted the President's words so blatantly that even CNN had to report on it. He had an absolute meltdown -- let's contrast that with W who is always cool, professional and never gets personal.

The last picture in #13...Laura looks like a movie star. She's breathtakingly beautiful in that picture! We always say what a lucky woman Laura is, but he's pretty darn lucky too.

Gore and Daschle were so bizarre, so unmanly and so freakish this week in their jihads against the President. Their performances were like outtakes from the Rocky Horror Picture Show- Dr. Frank N Furter and Riff Raff.

I tell you the liberal media never let me down. They are so consistently inaccurate and inane it is forever hilarious.
Now they are trying to make something about Bush not mentioning Gore. If they had a brain, they should know that Dubya never chastises individuals, unless they are the enemy (like Saddam).

I agree - Laura is the loveliest First Lady we have had in many moons.

He had an absolute meltdown -- let's contrast that with W who is always cool, professional and never gets personal. Sometimes it irratates me how polite Dubya is to the leaders of the 'rats, but it has served its purpose because there was such a striking difference in the way the two came across and it was so noticable. Even my (very liberal) mother-in-law had to notice the huge difference between the two.

You're so right. He was probably up most of the night practicing that look and all those gestures in front of the mirror. And he probably intended to be screaming in a whisper earlier but he forgot. As for Byrd, it's time for the senile old bas#$%^to be put out to pasture. He's contaminated the Senate long enough.

Belt in the mouth, pie in the face, beat severely about the head and shoulders, pull his chair out from under him, short sheet his bed, Ex-Lax in his coffee, etc. etc.
I am confident, however, that he will get his just reward.

I bet as a child Barbara taught him "if you can't say something nice about a person, don't say anything at all". It's good advice, but so very hard to practice. Remember his good manners are part of what makes him so special!
