President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Actually, the "well-manered, softspoken and polite" title was given via Rush Limbaugh.
While the repubs seemed to be huffing and puffing, here was Daschle seeming to be unflapable.
Leave it to our beloved President to be able to push the right button. I wonder if GW knew he would finally explode - the reason I say that is because GW seemed to be getting bolder and bolder every day with his statements about the Senate. Hmmmmm?? LOL

Which president in the last 30 years lied to get us into a military action?
Well, it had to be Clinton. The most significant military action he got us in was Bosnia. So doing a Google search for "clinton bosnia lies" yields up the reminder that he said our troops would only be there for 18 months then come home, in order to get support.
The troops are still there.
Not sure if that's what you had in mind or not.

"How can they face themselves in the mirror in the morning"
They can't face themselves in the mirror unless they have really big step stools.

I'm short My estimation of Daschle has nothing to do with his short stature, but with his smallness as a human being...

I've also noticed than when male dogs are neutered at a very early age, as they do when you get a pup from the pound or animal shelter, they tend to not know that they are male and should lift their leg. Seen year and a half and two year old male dogs who were neutered early and they have no idea!!!

Belt in the mouth, pie in the face, beat severely about the head and shoulders, pull his chair out from under him, short sheet his bed, Ex-Lax in his coffee, etc. etc.LOL!! Right on Miss Marple! I was yelling at my tv when I saw a replay of this "speech" he made me so mad. We must gain back control of the Senate!!

Some good friends of mine attended a fundraising luncheon last week in Nashville. The President was there and raised a cool $1M at lunch for LaMar Alezander's Senate campaign. My friends have not necessarily been Alexander supporters in the past but they said the goal is to help the President and to regain the Senate.

Well, someone called him a weasel, but that would be insulting to weasels. Since he's not a vegetable or a mineral and shares many physical characteristics of humans, it seemed simpler to classify him this way. Simpler, yet not without its drawbacks.

He should be the Cowardly Lion - fat, big roar and no substance

Daschle needs to rethink the words "debate" and "politicize". Seems to me that it is he, Daschle, who has "politicized" the issue by demanding a "debate". How can there be an opposing position when it comes to protecting America ? His little performance today certainly was not about protecting America but it sure looked a lot like politics to me.

If any of you are in Pierre, South Dakota, or Atlanta, Georgia, or Salem, West Virginia, or Little Rock, Arkansas, or West Des Moine, Iowa, check in with the Senate races in a week or so and get a bumpersticker.
I'm waiting on calls from Missouri and Texas to see who gets the last lot of 500.

FOFLOL. Yes, that is true but he is brainless :)
