ANY FREEPERS IN SEATTLE?
09/23/2002 | Patriot62

Posted on 09/23/2002 12:43:08 PM PDT by Patriot62

Are there any Freepers living in the Seattle area. On October 6th the Leftist - Anti-America crowd will be protesting the War on Iraq and everything else that they hate about the USA. It will probably be at Westlake Mall or the Federal Building - they haven't posted a location yet.

Is anyone interested in participating in a Pro-USA peaceful counter protest with US flags and signs in support of the USA and our President? (No Aryans, violent types or goons need apply).

Read The Story of a FReeper Chapter to see the history of the Puget Sound Chapter.

This is a very dangerous crowd.

Actually, they are anti-American cowards.

Time to send the 'hard hats'.....

I remember 1969 in Chicago. If you're old enough to recall, until then, nobody - except for some hippies and Peter Fonda wannabes - wore American flags on their clothes or hats. That was a no-no. Anyway, at the height of the protests in front of the Federal Courthouse where the trial of the "Chicago 7" (Abbie Hoffman, Renny Davis, Tom Hayden, Jerry Rubin, Bobby Seale, Lee Weiner, John Froines) was underway, the construction workers downtown - the "hardhats" - had a belly-full of seeing NVA flags carried around and hearing the favorite chant of the protesters, "Ho-Ho-Ho Chi Minh, NLF is gonna win!" One day, the "hardhats" put American flag stickers on their hardhats and at noon, thousands upon thousands of union and non-union iron workers, sheet metal workers, carpenters, cement finishers, plumbers, electricians, painters, laborers, etc. all walked off their jobs and confronted the unwashed rabble of anti-American protesters and pounded lumps on them! They routed the scum out of downtown and made sure they didn't come back. Ever since then, wearing the American flag on a hardhat has been de riguer, as the whole country took a shine to wearing the flag. The "hardhats" gained a reputation and during that time were feared by hippie and Yippie scum. The hardhats brought the peace to Chicago. I remember. My dad was one of them.

LOL. I thought the demonstrators may be part of the same anarchist group that tore up Eugene and Seattle. Since I don't live up that way anymore, I lose touch with which group is which. There's no doubt in my mind that being FReeped will neutralize these jerks.

I moved here in October of 1990, just in time to witness one of the worst winters on record, including a 100 year storm. The first summer that I spent in WA, I never wore shorts or even short sleeves the whole the summer. So, I have really appreciated this beautiful summer. I don't think that there was a nicer place in the whole country than right here, this year.

I remember the 100 year storm. I almost burst my bladder on the 4-1/2 hour drive home.

"We've eaten bear pastrami and corned elk made from game shot by a Puget Sound Freeper! "

You forgot to tell em, that bear pastrami was Smokey the Bear and the corned elk was Bambi's cousin. We eat only the best at our Freeper meets.

Don't let Publius fool you. He is an active FReeper and a brilliant thinker. But the rest of the good things he said about the Puget Sound chapter are true! We are a great bunch. BTW, T -I emailed Kirby but haven't heard back from him yet.

"What, no PC meats at the meet?"

Naw, if it's politically correct, we won't eat it. Makes us sick.

Besides corned elk and bear pastrami, we also had mussels and oysters provided by FReeper "Seattle". After all that righteous home brew, I was calling them "oysels and musters".

But that moose kielbasa from 1999 was magnificent. I'll never forget that. (No cheese, though.)

Knowing that crowd, it could get pretty ugly. But they, if anybody, deserves some really world-class freepage.

I'm thinking-- infiltrate and humiliate. Dress like we're from Eugene, intermingle with the crowd with signs like "Bin Laden is a Freedom Fighter" or "God bless Allah" or "Vegetarians kill living cells-- eat rocks" or something like that.

Either that or stand across the street with a big "Jihad THIS" sign.

Can't make up my mind. :-)
