September 23, 2002 -- WASHINGTON - There are at least 70,000 dangerous hijackers, car bombers, assassins, and hostage-takers known to U.S. authorities - a global threat that's growing at a startling rate, a new report says.
Authorities say they are adding as many as 2,000 names a month to the list of thugs, following years in which the list languished and was not shared among government agencies.

Put a 10,000 bounty on the head of every one of them. With all our government spends an extra 700 million is a pittiance publish the names and pictures and put a letter of marque on their heads.

..DANGER LIST HAS 70,000 READY TO STRIKE AT U.S....What a load of unmitigated codswallop. You can set your watch by the regularity with which the Post comes out with these doomsayer stories every Monday morning.
It would be a revealing exercise to set every Monday's front cover since 911, side by side; more revealing, perhaps, to find out how much they've made, from fearmongering. Col Allen, the Post's current editor, used to run Sydney's Daily Telegraph, where he specialised in the same kind of alarmism. He's a notorious rogue, and I'm really surprised that supposedly cynical New Yorkers have fallen for his schtick so easily.

Ok, so there's only 68,726 of them.

68,724 of 'em are Apu variants, Katt. Phoned in to the TIPs hotline, by local busybodies, wanting payback for being served a melted Squishy. Cheers, By.

Well, as long as they register republican I guess...

I assume this list includes those that are stopped as they try to enter the country through checkpoints such as airports and seaports. What about the controls of those who who decide to walk across the borders?

..wow, we must have a lot of 7-11's :)...Oh, you have, amigo. I have a sneaking suspicion that most of these so-called terrorists would turn in their Semtex and AKs in a heartbeat, if offered a franchise. At bottom their anti-Americanism is just a green soup of envy. What this War on Terror is missing is a chieu hoi program. Seriously.

The answer then is to open a series of 7-11's over there and other chains. Like McMohammed, Burger Dictator, United Oil Farmers (UDF Here in the mid west), and maybe Weeping Wal-Mart (which they will claim to hate as much as many americans say they hate wal-mart, but they will shop there anyway 'but Ahkmir, I got a good deal!'

There is a McMohammed on www.stopislam.com in the humor section...

The private sector always tends to be more efficient then the government( except for large scale military operations) give the names and pictures of the suspects and put letters of marque out on them.

There are at least 70,000 dangerous hijackers, car bombers, assassins, and hostage-takers...They left out; thugs, thieves, robbers, murderers, roughnecks, rowdies, toughs, punks, cutthroats, gangsters, gunmen, mobsters, goons, hatchet men, mother-rapers, father-rapers, and buggerers.

Why do you doubt we have 70,000 terrorists and their first-line support worldwide? Thousands were trained as combatants in Al Quaida camps, and their support network will be 5X to 10X in number to the combatants. The actual trained ops should be assasinated, and the support network and even the second-line sympathizers rooted out of the U.S. and deported.
