Yesterday JeanS printed an article from the American Prowler claiming that the Dems. in Florida were going to fake a poll showing McBride within 5 points of Jeb Bush.

Lookie here!

DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe is so excited about McBride he's expected to trot out a Florida Democratic Party poll claiming McBride is within five points of Gov. Jeb Bush Don't believe it. Every responsible poll, even from the Bush-hating Miami Herald, has the guv ahead by double digits.

McBride aims to close gap with Gov. Bush

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride met behind closed doors Thursday with national Democratic leaders and about 80 top state party donors to figure out how to close the monetary gap between him and Republican Gov. Jeb Bush.

Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe met McBride and the donors at a Tampa hotel, trying to figure out how to raise at least $10 million over the next six weeks to finance the campaign, state party chairman Bob Poe said.

Poe said the donors were shown an internal party poll that has McBride within 5 percentage points of Bush.

Bingo! We are going to see lots of PHONY POLLS. We have to convince Floridians to avoid getting caught up in the polls. The only HONEST polls are the inside polls and of course, those are confidential. I bet McLawyer is a lot further behind than we've been told and I think he's running out of money.

SEEN ANY MCLAWYER COMMERCIALS LATELY? I thought not. He can't afford commercials - that's why HRC, Lieberman and Algor are dropping by. They are much cheaper than tv spots. LOL

I don't know how the Prowler knew, but who cares? The main point here is that the liberal papers must be faught at every turn. They must be bombarded with emails, phone calls, faxes and the like each and every time they LIE - every time they act like an extension of the DNC (which they ARE, of course). We all need to realize that many in the media are part of the game and are just as evil as the clintons and mcauliffe. Everybody needs to wake up and fight this evil. If we want to see Jeb and George W. remain in office, it is time to ACT! Unless we want a RAT trying to protect us from terrorists. Is that what we want for our children????

Our local NBC affiliate showed a short clip last night of McBride, Reno, and someone my source (Mom (^:) didn't know, together at a campaign event. Then the reporter showed a smiling Jeb and informed the audience that we could find Jeb's complete debate at their website www.nbc-2.com. (^:

I posted this on another thread. If something in print, on tv or radio sounds FALSE, we need to call media outlets and demand fair and balanced coverage. What a difference 12 hours made yesterday at Bay News 9.

Yesterday,Bay News 9 on the air was saying how bad things looked for Governor Bush at 9:00 am. I called them and asked Bay News 9 (time warner-aol) to be more {fair and balanced). The operator wanted to know why I thought they were biased. I said "because time warner-aol are all democrats". Then she said "Oh, I see."

By 9:00 pm, Al Reuchel was giving polling data on the governor's race and guess what, "GOVERNOR BUSH HAS EXCELLENT POLL NUMBERS". Reuchel's words. Was it my call? Probably not. Did other people call and complain too? Maybe.

When the media gets it wrong or goes op-ed instead of reporting the news, WE MUST CALL THEM. PHONE CALLS WORK BETTER THAN EMAILS IMO.

We know the liberal rags don't want Floridians to connect MacAuliffe to McBride. I wonder what MacAuliffe's unfavorables are - He disgusts me. They all disgust me, including Buddy Dyer, dem candidate for AG. He's another sleaze from birth.

I have to chuckle. My mom picks up bits and pieces of news stories on tv and passes them on to me. Sometimes, she's right on and sometimes, she's all wrong. I affectionately call her my "unreliable source." Then we have a good laugh about it.

When the media gets it wrong or goes op-ed instead of reporting the news, WE MUST CALL THEM.

Good for you! I've had many conversations with people working at the local news networks/paper..only twice have I met true, meanspirited partisanship.

The days before election 2000, when the mass media pounced on GW and the decades old story of his barely-a-DUI, I called my local news network to report a story that never made it onto the TV airwaves, or major papers. The very same day the "big" DUI story broke. Janet Reno announced that she was initiating an investigation into Al Gore's putting the brakes on a major drug investigation in TX, years of investigative work (for a half-dozen or so officers) down the drain. It was revealed that the big suspect was a rap artist and a big Gore $$$ donor. The Wash Times put the story online. The 6 pm news director for WBBH, NBC affiliate in SW Fla. had this to say, "The Washington Times?! That right-wing rag that's owned by the Moonies!" Only when I asked him whether he thought that Janet Reno gave the WT an exclusive and asked why no one else was covering this story did he reluctantly take down the URL...no story to follow.

One of the editors of the Gannett-owned Fort Myers News-Press reamed me out when I questioned the recent attacks on Gov. Bush and the Child Welfare system in the state...after I did enough of my own research to know that this was a much different story than the simple attacks on Jeb we were getting almost daily, that it was as bad or worse in major states nationwide, that changes in the law (from a Democrat in the Senate) forced adults in caretaker positions to phone in any possible neglect or abuse charges and that these thousands of calls a day overwhelmed an already iffy system which relied too often on the word of a frightened or imaginative child and aggressive or gullible social workers...not to mention the steady erosion of family values, etc. My "hometown" editor wasn't interested, just repeated the DNC talking points on Jeb.

I usually find, though, that they do care about putting out the truth and will listen. The facts are stubborn things. (^:

If all Republicans would drop all of the liberal papers in the country, our message to them would be clear. We have to use every means possible to let them know we are MAD and we're not going to take it anymore. The RAT party is used to Republicans folding up, curling up and dying in a corner. We must fight back in every possible manner. And it starts NOW, not in 2004. Wake up, everybody - this is going to be the dirtiest, most corrupt election in history (both 02 and 04).

jUST THINK IF EVERY BUSINESS WHICH ADVERTISED IN THE NYT AND LA TIMES AND WASHINGTON POST SWITCHED ALL OF THEIR ACCOUNTS TO THE WASHINGTON TIMES AND ANY ALL CONSERVATIVE ALTERNATIVES. (I know, it is a monopoly situation in most cities, but that can change!)

McLawyer has Field Directors and Volunteer Coordinators. I don't know exactly who his campaign manager is. I do know for a fact that he's being led around on a leash by FEA Teacher Union's director.

A simple, but direct complaint by phone works wonders. I think Bay News 9 was alerted by someone that their polling information in the morning was the PHONY POLLING data. That evening, it was almost an OVER EMPHASIS on Governor Bush's excellent poll ratings. I guess they'll be more careful with their polling sources from now on. You can still tell they're for McBribe though.

I'll call them every time I think they are short sheeting Governor Bush.

"I e-mailed them the Prowler piece from the previous day, told them that Jeb and Florida voters deserved a retraction and the truth about their candidates."

GREAT JOB BUMP!!

That's why McLawyer never bothered with a campaign. He knew that McA$$hole would just steal the governorship for him.

"Does this mean it was only distributed to Florida's democrat party members? If so, things are looking good for Bush if 52% of democrats plan to vote for him."

Hmmm...good point, but McBrideofMcAulliff plans on using this phoney poll to brainwash Florida voters into thinking McBride is more popular than he is, so that they'll get discouraged and either not vote or vote for McBrideOfMcCaullif.

The Dems want the Fl Gov spot bad. In fact, I would venture a guess that whether Hillary! runs in '04 or '08 may hinge on it.
