Thanks for posting the pics!!! While we were small in number (we've gotten up to a dozen at a few of the other FReeps I've been at) we had SO LITTLE notice.
Most importantly we made our presence known!! All those people and news media people seeing us as they entered the front... then us moving to that front gate section and having our voices carry into the VIP area... then FReeper "Evil Smoker" and another protestor (who left before the one group photo was taken) named Sheri BOTH snuck past security and into the press conference room before being discovered and removed.
And then our encampment at the side of the building where the Governor entered (and almost took me out LOL!).
Man, you KNOW we got under Gray Davis' skin today and you know he took it out on his staff and they felt overwhelmed!!! Next time let's hope that we have even more people out there!!!

Did anyone mention that you almost got run down by the Gov's car?! That was a sight to behold. I really enjoyed that freep today! DUMP DAVIS - GO, SIMON!!! For victory & freedom!!!

Did anyone mention that you almost got run down by the Gov's car?! Same type of thing happened to a cop, which was hit by Hillary's limo when it ran through a security check point. Remember?

We sure did FReep the creep today. We got wind that the gov ("the whore") was to show up at the Railroad Museum so a few of us showed up with signs and chants. Impeach98 is an absolutely joy leading the chants. "Somebody save us . . . from Gray Davis!" etc. We were able to greet many of the attendees - including one bus which stopped and let off senior citizens! It was great. I felt we experienced a lot of community support today. "Governor Davis, we do hate; he's too chicken to debate!" It was a great freep!!! Except Impeace98 scared the bejeebers out of me stepping in front of the Gov's car and all. I thought they were going to run him over!! "Gay" Davis saw us, all right, which made me feel soooo good. For victory & freedom!!!

Thanks for all you do, Comwatch. It was great to see you there with your "don't tread on me" flag and your camera! Yahoo!!!

It was really short notice! No time to get the word to the troops. We were lucky to get this crew together. It was fun, though, don't get me wrong. We had a freepin' ball!! The Gov saw us, all right. Yahoo!! For victory & freedom!!!

I do remember reading something about that - Hillary never even stopped to see if the guy was all right, right? And Congress"man" Tom Lantos hit a kid and didn't even stop. Remember that? I was there today and I thought they were going to run over Impeach98. It scared me. Just one more reason to hate that creep of a gov. Go, Simon!!!!!!!
To: Saundra Duffy
And Congress"man" Tom Lantos hit a kid and didn't even stop. Remember that? Yes! I remember that! Glad you brought it up. It just amazing me how Lantos was saved from Hitler's concentration camps by Raoul Wallenberg, and you'd think he was saved to do great things and he turns out to be such a jerk!

Awww, I am sorry Saundra... I hope that my reckless actions didn't make you uncomfortable at that moment. What I had hoped for originally of course was that if we were all going back and forth it would force the vehicle to stop and the driver/CHP to yell at us to get out of the way... we would... but in those 2-5 seconds Davis would have to sit there looking at us and our signs and Dump Davis! stickers and stew in it!
Next time I'll try to be a bit more passive :) [Not too much though LOL!]

Joe, Impeach98, after GovMobile's near miss....
Hear the DUMP DAVIS CHANTS
In case some of you missed it... KCRA-3 News at 6 p.m. opened
the Davis bill signing ceremony with our DUMP DAVIS crew and
the whole nine yards... chants included. I'll see if we can upload it
from their website tomorrow.

Remember my parting request of you and the great young people in your crew?
It played out on KCRA-3 TV News tonight:
"Traditionally, low turnout helps the Republican candidates, but there is a downside for the GOP.
"A lot more younger voters are Republicans, and younger voters tend to be the ones that don't turn out. So, in fact, a low-voter turnout, the new conventional wisdom is, it probably hurts both parties," said political consultant Davis Townsend."
"Clearly, every election, it comes down to candidates and the messages they deliver and how they can generate enthusiasm and excitement among voters," said Secretary of State spokeswoman Beth Miller."
