"So, based on your post, one can logically conclude that Republicans are leaders, and Democrats are Terrorist Supporters.

Wonderful pictures tonight, RWP!!! Not only President Bush but VP Cheney, their wives, Spot, and Ari ...... about the only VIP missing is Barney.
Btw, I'm wondering if the 4th lady with Laura, Lynne, and Alma Powell is Mrs. Rumsfeld ...... can anyone confirm or deny that?

WE need more teachers to vote for Bush in 04 - send the NEA a strong message! They need to speak up not back down! To me, if they hate what they have to teach and they say nothing, they are cowards.

I agree wholeheartedly!!!
A few have left the public school system and taken teaching jobs at private schools. Huge drop in pay but totally worth it in their estimation.

Luminous is a very good word to describe how radiant Laura looks in that picture ..... like there is a light shining from within her ...... and we all know the Source of that light ...... :-)

My mom was one of either 12 or 13 kids. Several died when babies. She went to a one room school too. She says that on Friday nights, they would have spelling bees and she was always one of the last ones standing. Guess that is where I got my love of spelling. Back then, baseball was about the only sports activity there was for kids so she really loved it. She use to stay up til about 3 or 4 watching baseball games on TV--my brother had a sat. dish so she was able to do that. She does not care too much for it now, though, since she has trouble hearing and seeing. She says that my dad would have been a good pro player. It is interesting to listen to her talk about the Good Ole Days!!!

Here is one for Slick Willy
"The Man in the Glass"
When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to a mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn't your father or mother or wife,
Who judgement upon you must pass;
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one starring back from the glass.
He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest.
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed the most dangerous, difficult test
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years.
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be the heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

I have grown to hate the teachers' unions! I find it hard to have any compassion for them these days. When they stand up for what they believe in, maybe I'll respect them again. However, many of them are liberal idiots with their own left-wing agenda. (uh..can you tell I'm not real fond of teachers's unions? hehehe..)
