That's my thinking! How they stand on the war ..... and I mean willing to stand up and vote, not just rant in front of a camera ...... should be an important factor as people decide who to support in the elections!!!!!

I sense that Bush made his approach last week, if Daschele wants to screw around, that's his deal. Daschele isn't going to jack the Prez around this time. Bush has patience with his pipsqueak adversary on domestic issues, but he's setting the schedule here.

I will guarantee six Democrats who will vote with Bush: Cleland, Johnson, Landrieu, Baucus, Carnahan and Torracelli. Maybe even Harkin and Wellstone.

If Wellstone votes Yea, he is a corrupt hypocrite. He never votes for military campaigns. But, to win in a tough race, he may need to. So he will. These guys have no governing ethos. They want the maintanence of power and office. There are NO good Democrats in the U.S. Senate. Maybe Zell Miller. But other than him? None.
