I sense that Bush made his approach last week, if Daschele wants to screw around, that's his deal. Daschele isn't going to jack the Prez around this time. Bush has patience with his pipsqueak adversary on domestic issues, but he's setting the schedule here.

Daschle better walk softly. His state voted for Bush. They keep the dems in congress to bring home the pork, but they always vote for the R's in the presidential race.
