President Bush traveled to the three areas of the country that were hit by terrorist attacks one year ago today. Bush traveled to the Pentagon this morning, Pennsylvania this afternoon, and New York City this evening- where he delivered an address to the nation from Ellis Island. Today is a day for remembering the lives that were lost, and today is a day for honoring the freedom that we will fight and die for. God bless America. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Is it possible to love this President any more than we do? I keep thinking that it's not, and then a day like this comes along, and I do.
Interestingly enough, mr ohio made a comment when he saw the advertisement about the debauched one being on letterman to the effect of "I shouldn't let him bother me so much, but he does."
And I was thinking that he contrast has never been greater between these two. xlinton keeps sinking deeper into the slimy bog, and PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH keeps rising higher into the heavens!!

We will be seeing some tears from the "WIDE GLIDE" after the elections in November as she sees the moving van backing up to Daschle's office to move his things back to the office with the courtyard view

The second last picture in post 33 is incredible. That's just the word that I used when I saw that pic. Also the other one in that same post (I think) that shows his tear-stained face. Just incredible.

Had to check out the daily dose before I went to bed. What a special treat it was. Thank you so much for all of your work, rintense. And thank the Lord for giving us someone as special as GW.
I think his ability to show such true love for Laura makes everyone know he has such deep feelings and emotions. The trash couple could never pull that off. Neither could the vice-trash couple, even with their much publicized kiss at the convention, ick, ick, ick!!!
Thanks again and good night, Bushbabes.

New York times is criticizing him for telling the boy thatThe NY Times can go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned. Just what would THEY tell that little boy? They are such JERKS! I thought the President's response was just perfect. I believe it was just what that little boy needed to hear; he had enough sadness on his plate right then.
I was watching the O'Reilly Factor last night, ( though I normally don't because I'm usually freepin at that time of night) and he was talking about a survey done by a Media watchdog group. In the past year about 72% of the stories about Bush in the Times have been negative; can't say I was surprised. Of all the the major TV networks and newspapers, the one closes to being fair (besides Fox) was CBS with about 52% of their reporting being negative toward the President.
So I take what I read in the Times with a huge bucket of salt!

These pictures are just wonderful, rintense. I love the one of Dubya holding the little black boy in his arms. I guess that was taken at Shanksville. The looks of mutual admiration are so delightful!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have been on an emotional roller coaster all day. I was doing fine early on ... then they started reading the names of the people at ground zero. I lost it.
Later that day as I was leaving work - and I stopped at the post office, there in front of the building was a flag at half staff. I lost it again.
I'm kinda surprised at all this - because I am a pretty realistic person and I don't get overly emotional about most things.
But ... tomorrow will be a better day. I'll be at GOP headquarters in San Diego, preparing packets for the precinct walk on Saturday. After today - I'm madder than hell and the democraps are gonna pay BIG TIME!!!!!

President Bush, as President Reagan both have much in common. They are decent and honest menSpeaking of Pres. Reagan, have any of y'all seen the article in Ladies Home Journal (is that what it is still called? The issue has a pic of Meredith Viera from "The View" on the cover) about Patty Davis? Turns out she has just come out of her teenaged snit, and now she regrets that she was so mean to her Daddy all those years. Now that he's so far gone with Alzheimers she's sad she won't have the chance to tell him how proud she is of him.
I'm glad the girl has seen the light, but she must have enjoyed that pity-party she threw for herself. She sure stayed there long enough!

The look on President Bush's face as Andrew Card whispers in his ear that we are under attack is so telling. HIs face looks stricken, the eyes reflect total shock and disbelief.
How anyone could see this, and then try to say he knew in advance is beyond reason. (Hillary, et al)

What a day. I just saw the 60 minutes special. I just about lost it when they showed him coming down the steps of AF1 after returning from NYC on 9/14. He was totally and completely exhausted! It looked like he was going to collapse. My God, how fortunate we are to have this man as President.
The interview was great and W was awesome. I caught glimpses of the ceremonies on TV today but what struck me the most was how solicitous and generous he was with his time in Penn and in NYC. What a kind hearted man he is.
Paging MM...are you still up? I didn't see you post on the Dose. Too many martinis maybe or still so ticked at the wretched media?

Hey Lady! Did you go to Pelco today? I didn't make it. I woke up before four o'clock and I couldn't get back to sleep, so my hubby and I laid there in the dark and talked a little. After a while I told him about the thing at Pelco in honor of 9-11 and I said I might go to the 5:30 service. He looked at the clock behind our heads in the head board and said, the one that's starting right now? LOL!
Well as we live a half hour out of town, that was out. I really wanted to go. I hope you did go so you can tell me all about it.
