This is a small collection of links, organized into four consecutive categories:
1- A look back from now.
2- The 9-11 attack "as it went down, live..."
3- The aftermath.
4- Remembrance.
As with all such posts, there are links within links within links, and to fully remember and inform yourself, you need to follow them all- but be warned!
Some will take you to gruesome pictures and disturbing stories, so tread carefully.
I honestly believe that most Americans need to view these things, and never forget, or forgive, what was visited on defenseless and innocent people on that black day.
Use your own judgement, but look if you can.

THE FALLING MAN REVISITED
Some images leave an indelible mark on your heart and soul.
Like "The Falling Man" on 9/11:

His identity has not been confirmed, though many have speculated over the last 4 1/2 years. Tom Junod wrote an extraordinary piece for Eqsuire in September 2003 on "The Falling Man," offering several possibilities. His piece ended with this one:
Jonathan Briley worked at Windows on the World. Some of his coworkers, when they saw Richard Drew's photographs, thought he might be the Falling Man. He was a light-skinned black man. He was over six five. He was forty-three. He had a mustache and a goatee and close-cropped hair. He had a wife named Hillary. Today, the Mirror of London follows up (hat tip: Rusty at The Jawa Report): Channel 4 in Britain will air a documentary on The Falling Man tomorrow.
