There is a poll on today's main page of the online SHT website (remember, that's "Sarasota Herald-Tribune"!). It's in the middle column about halfway down the page.

The question asked is, "Should Katherine Harris be allowed to run for Congress?". So far it's about 50/50 between "Yes. She didn't break the law" and "No.".

shes a busy lady... did you hit blackburn pt this morning? i worked the us41 and stickney corner from 7-9 had to bribe my friend to go with me... early morning for me... you doing monday or tuesday? i would but i dont want to do it alone and my friend is working. she knows though because the day you posted this thread she called me to ask about freepers, i was at work and couldn't answer but i emailed her and explained... im doing to the door to door in the morning. did you get the september volunteer update? woohoo im a features volunteer this time ;) also bradenton herald yesterday published one of my editorials.

Yeah, I'm busy too, and I do politics for free. Libertarian that I am, I find it ironic that I find myself doing a great deal more work on this election on behalf of Republicans than most registered Republicans.

I'll be out on Tuesday morning. And congrats on the editorial. The SHT-people sure have been recalcitrant about accepting my offer to do guest editorials for them -- gotta preserve that "five lefties for each conservative" so-called "balance" that their taskmasters at the NY Times mandates, I suppose.

Just today I've been busy writing Rod Thomson congratulating him on getting a good piece on Jerry Regier published, and subsquently writing Janet Weaver and Wendy Dial of the SHT supporting Rod.

Har-har! Surely you jest. After all, theirs is "the vision of the anointed", after all. We should count our blessings that they let us "little people" even voice our misguided opinions! </ sarcasm>.

I've become convinced that this judge will stall until Monday, kick her off, and stop a timely appeal. This stalling is purely political, and is meant to delay, delay as long as possible. She'd have to appeal to the Florida Supreme Court (how Ironic!) And I bet their "Spirt of the law" won't help there. I hope I'm wrong.
