We don't need to "celebrate diversity". We don't need "tolerance". We don't need "understanding". We don't need to "examine root causes".

What we need is a "reckoning"!

Then, when the perpetators and ALL their allies and sympathizers are stone, cold dead we can talk about "healing" the wounds that remain. Until then, there should be no further discussion.

Thanks for posting this. As horrific as it is, we need to know this and REMEMBER!!!

I recently saw an interview on tv with one of the survivors. He was a remarkable man (though, sadly, I don't recall his name) who said that he preferred to see the glass as half full. He called those who jumped heroes who did not give their lives in vain; he mentioned the fact stated in this article that those on the ground had to move back because of those jumping ..... and therefore were not smothered and crushed when the building collapsed.

I don't know if that would be any consolation at all to the families ..... but those people unwittingly saved many lives as they sacrificed their own!

Never forget! Never forgive the evil, callous, unregenerate bast*rds who caused this to happen on our soil, to many of our citizens!

If people think this is bad, wait until the Islamakazis glass one of our cities. Maybe at that point America will really start to wake up.

Maybe.

OMG! This is the most horrifying article I have ever read in my life. Those who witnessed this will never be the same. May God help them. And may we never forget.

Thank you.

This has been bookmarked for the phoney conservatives and the butt budies of the Islamakazis who would have us forget and then blame these innocent victims of Islamakazi Mass Murder on 9/11/01.

I have zero tolerance for either group, and that tolerance gets less each day as we approach the first anniversary of 9/11!

For those who jumped, the fall lasted 10 seconds. They struck the ground at just less than 150 miles per hour — not fast enough to cause unconsciousness while falling, but fast enough to ensure instant death on impact. People jumped from all four sides of the north tower. They jumped alone, in pairs and in groups.

Islam is peace....

The manner of death for all those who died was listed as homicide on death certificates.

My wife and I were at The Tattered Cover last nite, a large independent book store in Denver, and there was a display of books, largely photographic, about the 9-11 atrocity (It was not a "tragedy." A deadly hurricane is a "tragedy." This was an atrocity.) It was amazing how the "powers that be" have already bowdlerized our collective memory of 9-11. There was not one picture of the planes crashing into the buildings, no pictures of jumpers, no pictures of bodies landing. We need to see those images to remind us of the nature of the evil that we face.

Wow. Kudos to USA Today for this article. Although shame on them that they only ran one picture. (Did they run any more with the article?) I don't care if a handful of the survivors don't like it, the pictures and video of Americans leaping to their deaths SHOULD be shown repeatedly and frequently, even to children. Especially to the children.
