Also USA Today coverage of the actual event 9-11 has been excellent.

NEVER FORGET.

When the left says we need to move on they should be forced to watch video of these poor souls falling to their deaths. There is no moving on until all of those responsible are dead. Radical Islam must be destroyed.

I'm glad this was written, but it makes the rage swell in my throat. Horrific beyond belief! I want the blood of as many "those people" as is possible.

I'm glad I never saw any of this footage on TV. But a friend told me that her husband developed temporary heart palpitations when he saw this on TV, and my friend made her husband turn off the TV.

Kudos to USA Today. An disturbing but necessary story. I abhore the sanitized whitewash that is going on in the media now. We need to remember - really remember.
Never forget.

What I will never forget, is that religious nuts did this.
Mad dog, man hating, religious nuts!

Thank you for posting this. I read the story on my way to work this morning, and I was filled with such a horrible sadness, followed by solemn rage.
USA Today seems to be the only print media outlet willing to take off the gloves and show 9/11 for what it was. They have yet to declare the true identity of our enemy (Radical Islam), but they may come around yet. The American public need the stories, images, and aftermath to be explained over and over, so when we start shedding others' blood, there will be no blind dissent.

I am glad they posted this as well. If you look closely at the videotapes you can see the bodies falling. However, I think its high time that the media publish pictures of these because it would make a difference in public opinion of actually how savage our enemy is.
I am not one of those who will light candles but instead we should invade Iraq on the anniversary of 911 and I am NOT ready to "get over it" as some liberal pundits are saying (because they are still stuck in pre-911 thinking).

Every time I come across the famous "jumper photos", my heart sinks. Then I think, "Those are AMERICANS! MURDERED!" My blood boils with white-hot rage whenever I see or hear about it. Those photos and videos should have been shown repeatedly to the country and the world, to keep the rage well-tended.
There's been speculation that the country is losing its way on the war...people are actually questioning whether it should even be fought. They should be handed those photos, and told to shut up. ANYONE who cannot feel righteous anger and rage upon seeing those pictures has no right to be called "American", or possibly even "Human".
Screw the peaceniks - whether on the right OR left. We have a war to win, and we must do so by ANY means necessary. The animals who performed, planned, and supported this atrocity deserve absolutely ZERO mercy. And no, their countries do not deserve to continue existing, either. They have forever discarded that right.
IMHO.

Pearl Harbor made an entire generation despise the Japanese. The muslims have not even begun to comprehend the negative impact this will have on them. A bit of Suadi PR nor the CAIR PC double talk is not going to 'fix' it.

For those who jumped, the fall lasted 10 seconds. They struck the ground at just less than 150 miles per hour not fast enough to cause unconsciousness while falling, but fast enough to ensure instant death on impact. People jumped from all four sides of the north tower. They jumped alone, in pairs and in groups.I've always wondered about that... Are you really unconscious when you land?? I did a tandem jump with 60 seconds of free fall, and the instructor estimated we were going about 100 miles an hour. I don't know, all I felt was sheer terror in every cell.
Yet I've read that usually the poisonous fumes in the smoke will kill someone quite quickly. I don't know what I would do, stay and die, or jump and die. My only hope would be that I had enough time to make my peace before death.
And I do hope that the 'martyrs' truly got what they deserved in their afterlife.
