We recieved a phone call late last night that GalvestonBeachComber had been taken to the emergency room at John Sealy in Galveston.
The two of us had planned a sight-seeing trip out west and had actually left Pine Bluff, Arkansas last Thursday, Aug. 29th. We made it as far as Bentonville, Arkansas where it was discovered he was suffering from congestive heart failure. We headed back to Pine Bluff where GBC picked up his car and continued home to see his doctor in Galveston as suggested by the doctor in Bentonville.
I had planned to drive to Galveston today (Tuesday) and will leave shortly.
We all know well the power of prayer, especially when FReepers start sending them!
Please say prayers for GalvestonBeachComber.

Tell him to look into CoQ10. It is an enzyme that is concentrated in the heart. Those with low levels always have heart disease, those with normal levels rarely do. I've seen heart patients at death's door prosper after a few weeks on this stuff. You have to take it with food and you cannot stop taking it cold turkey. No other negatives or side effects.
Here is the link to more info International COENZYMEQ10 Association
I know the guy that funded much of the US based non-profit research on this, an 85+ year old CEO that had his last heart attack 20 years ago, before starting to take coq10. You'd all know who he is... but I'm not going to mention it lest you lump his political involvements in with the valid research on this topic.

No sooner read than prayers are sent. If they let him drive that seems a point in his favor, I hope!
To: Budge
Prayer on the way. You be safe, also.
