Pardon the length. This is an update and take-off of an essay I wrote in the year 2000. It is in response to a request by Freeper Shenandoah, who wrote a wonderful essay last week entitled,
As an American, I believe ... He asked that I pen a few words of my own and this is my response.
Best Fregards to all, and God's richest blessings on you each and may they continue on our Republic as long as we remain worthy of them.
